I emailed the crew at the Planetarium to set up a private showing for our Cub Scout pack. They were wonderful to work with and the kids and adults! had a great time. It was an interactive presentation- which worked well for the kids. I loved hearing them ooh and aaah in amazement as they saw the galaxies in a way they never have before. The presenter was informative and engaging and had some great jokes for the kids. The whole staff is passionate about what they do and it shows :

We went for the Valentine's presentation and really enjoyed it. The people involved and students really seem to enjoy what they are doing. I suggest getting there early. There are not a ton of seats and it fills up. They seem to do encores to get everyone in but I don't know if it's always like that.

The planetarium is nice and cozy.  Although I enjoyed the Alabama Summer Skies series overall, I think school children enjoyed it more.  I would have prefer a non-interactive presentation with voice-overs on the video.

I enjoyed 2017 solar eclipse show.. it was a blast...
