The Christian Family Counseling Center was established in 1985 by Founder Lyda Shamblin. Mrs. Shamblin developed CFCC as an out reach ministry of Open Bible Center Church to provide Christian Counseling to individuals and families. In 2016 Lyda Shamblin's daughter Sarah Wroblewski, became, the new Director of the Christian Family Counseling Center. Christian Counseling, will continue to be the focus of CFCC, providing families and individuals of Kankakee County with ongoing Christian Mental Health Services.
