Free access to collaborative, evidence-based and thoughtful discussion related to Christian approaches to global health care and promotion.
Access to reliable and timely information regarding Global Health initiatives enables policymakers, funders and practitioners to make informed decisions and learn from the experience of others. Despite decades of holistic health practice and the innovative solutions that Christian health has to offer, the collective knowledge base related to Christian Global Health is largely untapped. There is no single place to submit, catalogue or retrieve information about Christian experience in Global Health.
That is, until now.
The Christian Journal for Global Health is a new resource providing free and open access to scholarly and thoughtful work in Global Health. Through its collaborative online journal, the CJGH is able to disseminate evidence-based best practices, improve understanding of intercultural work in the context of health, and increase worldwide exposure to the innovations, experiences and perspectives of global health workers.
The CJGH aims to publish an open-access, peer reviewed scholarly journal on global health from an international and inter-denominational Christian perspective. By acting as a platform for Christians working in global health to publish and share articles and original field work, we promote the sharing of knowledge from myriad disciplines and from the perspective of various Christian traditions.
