Dr. Christian Korkis is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is re-certified yearly. He is a Life Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Korkis received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina and his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. While in medical school he did clinical rotations in Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, and General Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training was acquired at Seton Hall University in Newark, New Jersey. He was trained by Dr. H. Riva, who was previously the first director of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Post residency training, Dr. Korkis was a clinical instructor at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ and was involved in the teaching and training of medical students and residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Additionally, he performed the same function at Seton Hall University-St. Michael's Medical Center in Newark, NJ.
He was a solo Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Ridgewood, N.J., delivering approximately 200 babies per year.
Has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology for 26 years.
Dr. Korkis resides in Timnath, CO with his wife, Lisa of 22 years and their three children.
