ChuChu Donuts

We stopped here after a night stay at the Holiday Inn close by. Very friendly and helpful counter staff. We got a small selection of donuts and it was hard to pick. The donut holes are delicious! The cake donuts were soft and fresh. And the cronuts were fantastic! Highly recommend this place if you want a delicious donut treat!

Best donuts in town. I can only take a picture of a few donuts, because the dozen never makes it all the way home.

This is probably the best donut shop in Iowa! Donuts are made fresh daily and far surpass other nearby options. Cronuts and apple fritters not soggy, lots of amazingly crispy deliciousness are some of my favorites. My boys love the cake donuts too blueberry, old fashioned sour cream with maple glaze.

I've tried their Jumbo Croissant, cronut, and maple & chocolate long johns—all were so, so yummy and fresh! Just a little crisp and very fluffy every time : The service was quick and friendly, and the interior is cute too! Highly recommend!!

Donuts were exceptional, with a huge variety. Really good. Also got a sausage-cheese croissant that was underwhelming and cold.

We stopped by this no frills donut shop to abandon a New Year’s resolution to cut back on the carbs. It’s a small storefront with a half dozen tables in an area of Des Moines where new residential apartment buildings are popping up, just adjacent to Downtown. We tried the classic glazed, which did not disappoint. The chocolate twist was standard. The cinnamon roll was the fan favorite. Next time we will probably request a filling — like the Bavarian or the white fluffy lemon. 3 donuts and two colas: <$10

If you visit for one reason only- let it be the Cronut! Great staff, service hours, and amazing donuts. Thank you for such an awesome experience!

I visited this week for my first time with my grandson at his suggestion. The donuts and service were great. There was a steady stream of customers, so ChuChu's reputation is good and we'll deserved!

Great donuts at a great price, so many options. I ordered the Ctonut and unglazed old fashioned donut and really enjoyed both

Love this place! Their donuts are amazingly delicious! Staff is so friendly! They even gave us free donut holes which are so yummy! I'm so glad they opened again!
