We came to catch a matinee and were happy with the experience. You order from your phone at your seat now, but they have alcohol so any inconvenience is canceled out by that you can be served while watching your flick. Food is standard pub food, not that special. The names are clever, but overall food is just ok, and not quite where I think it could be. It's good, but there's room for improvement. The seats are comfy. Popcorn and candy for sale in the lobby. Overall enjoyable. We will be back.

Their food has gotten really bad. It used to be that we would get excited to go watch a movie and be able to order a great meal to go with it. But, now, the food tastes like it was taken from the freezer and reheated. And a lot of the better selections have been removed from the menu. Steak Tips and Chicken combo, Chicken and Waffles, etc.

Chunky’s is an amazing, family friendly spot to enjoy a movie & a meal! Never fancy, always fun, we love Chunky’s! The novelty seats are oversized and comfy. The service is attentive. The food is solid, delicious and plentiful. Plus, if you want to relax with an adult beverage, you can! Once you see a movie Chunky’s style you won’t go back.

There is something to be said about spaces that allow today's children to enjoy a recreational activity, and give the adults accompanying those children a chance to experience a small dose of nostalgia with their classic Hollywood actors in iconic roles adorning the walls and classic movie posters, a 1983 version Super Mario arcade machine and their smaller spaced lobby.  The dinner table style set up with converted Lincoln Navigator bucket seats truly provides a great opportunity for families to congregate and enjoy each other's company a practice that is becoming less commonplace. Overall, this is an exceptional family outing possibility.

I mean Chunky's is a staple! We watched the new Jurassic movie on a huge screen and ate amazing food. They have a great food and drink menu and if you still just want popcorn, you can get that too. Considering that the movie tickets are fairly inexpensive, they do this so you'll order food! Menu prices were reasonable and the food was REALLY GOOD! Only criticism is  while seats did recline, they are a bit old and torn. If they could upgrade seats I'd give 5 star.

Thought I would take my family out for dinner and a movie.  That was a mistake, the Service was terrible, the place was run-down, my seat was sticky.  We got there 30 min before movie started and I had to flag down a server 20 min into the movie to finally take our drink and food order.  Another 20 min later one of my kids got their soda and no one else.  Another 15 min and I had to go find someone else to at least get the rest of our drinks.  Movie was almost over by the time we got our food and I will be shocked if no-one gets sick tonight.  The owners really let this place go....really disappointing...

Fun place to go, large comfy seats, we ordered nachos and onion rings, waiter was great,he saw to it that kitchen got our request just right. And first release movie. We.ll go again!

I have been coming to this theater for over 25 years. Some of my favorite childhood movies I saw first on these screens. I'm so glad this spot has not lost its luster. I would even say that the added technology and direct ordering system has brought the experience to a whole new level.

I'm a transplant to this area from central MA, so Chunkys is brand new to me! My husband and I needed a quick and fun date night out, and this was the perfect place to get dinner and a movie at the same time. The food is mediocre objectively speaking, but it's more than good enough for the price and the casual atmosphere. The prices of tickets literally cannot be beat anywhere, and the laid back, no frills atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The wait staff was attentive and kind, drinks were huge, movie was great. Dinner and a movie for 2 people for under $60 is unheard of these days! We will definitely be back!

I remember chunky seating system a lot different back in the day. I haven't been in a long time obviously. It's cool to watch a movie, have a table and waiter for food though. Movie experience was good. Food was not. We had about 4 different apps for the family. The pork that was on our nachos tasted as if it was fake and or bad. Almost made my wife puke right on the spot. Other than the food we had a good time.
