A quiet place on a cold winter's night. Popped down for dinner and a movie with friends and enjoyed a very relaxing night in downtown Evanston. I'm sure it is more active in the summer but it's nice to have the place to ourselves in the winter.
I didn't know there was another name? We drove to Cost Plus aka World Market in Evanston. Just to buy these noodles that I've seen on Instagram. They are called A-Sha Noodles. I follow them because I love their noodles. This is what I bought their Tainan Noodles with Sesame Paste Sauce 5- Pack of Noodles. I'm slowy working on their other flavor Orginal Mandarin Noodles nice and wider noodles. Which I bought at Wal-Mart. And I liked their other flavor of Chili Hakka Flat Noodles. They are neat, to eat keeps me full. I saw these wide noodles on YouTube and this lady was eating these wide noodles with tiny triangles design in the pasta.Called "Ribbon Noodles". Still trying to find these noodles? But I ended up buying these noodles to tryout from MAMA thin instant Rice Vermicelli Noodles also in a 5 pack, Another brand of A-Sha's is Momofuku in a Grey package these also looked tasty. Then I bought 2 New flavors of POCKY, 1-BIG HUNK with whole peanuts, 1- BIG HUNK in a new flavor of Almond It's a chewy, Honey sweetned nougat with whole roasted peanuts. They have been around since 1950s & 1970 WOW. It's Gluten Free/ Low Fat candy. Comes in a Brown Wrapper with Big White Letters. I love to cut them into bite size pieces with scissors. Do that at room temperature, store them in a plastic baggie. It also comes in Chocolate covered too. 1 can of Coffee. Then I took many photos. Love this store too! We'll be back.

I loveeeeeeee this plaza !!! Downtown Evanston reminds me of downtown Chicago minus the expensive parking and rude people. Church Street Plaza has all of the shops and restaurants within walking distance and cheap resonable parking.
I visited world market. Wonderful, friendly staff, clean bathroom, excellent selection. Covid compliant.
Great location near MyNM surgeons office.
Great place for parking, movies and eating lunch. Lovely view and not to far from the Lake
I visited Chili's, the food was great!
Blick Art Materials has great employees
A terrific concept: build a community parking lot huge off to the side of a bustling urbanized suburb, which allows those of us from very non-urban nearby burbs easy walking access to hundreds of shops, restaurants, offices and theaters. Inexpensive by normal city metrics -- and validated for 4 free! hours by the adjacent Century Theater complex. Highly Recommended.
