Pretty nice establishment. Great refreshing lunch. Tea was just right, fresh brewed. Salsa was made with fresh ingredients and a mild heat. Chips were light and crispy. Taco salad- will order again. Daughter’s food was pretty good too. Service was great!
This was on the way home and my bride suggested we come in. About half of the tables were empty but there was still a 30 minute wait. Obviously VERY short staffed. Our waiter was trying very hard but was looking overworked. The food was okay overall. Nothing really special. They did have to remake my sons burrito 3 times. They did not add the chicken. No idea why it was difficult to get a chicken burrito but it was. Hope they are able to get their staffing sorted out. Might go back but not on the must do list..
Had not visited this Chuy's in awhile. We were sat right away. Server greeted us with salsa and chips and water. Took drink order and appetizers. Returned for main order and meal was prepared and ready in a few minutes. My burrito was huge and delicious. Overall service and food was great.Food: 5/5
We love coming to Chuy's! We had some out of town guests and they wanted a unique experience for dinner. We decided on Chuy's because the value of the food is awesome and is consistently perfect. Our waiter Andrew was great! Andrew took the time to explain the menu and provided his recommendations. Service was great and our entire party was happy. We definitely will come back and we highly recommend!
This was one of the worst meals we've had in a long time. We have eaten here several times before and found it OK, but this was a real disappointment. The table salsa they called it Salsa Fresca was a weird, watery texture with a LOT of lime or lemon, and quite spicy. I had the Chuychanga, and it was terrible. The wrapper was very doughy, more like an undercooked pizza crust than a crispy chimi. There wasn't much of the chicken filling and it was a bit dry. They claimed it was "roasted", but I didn't get a lot of that. The rice was flavorless and the refried beans looked either a bit burned very dark brown or had been sitting. I like spicy sauces and tried their Hatch Green Chile which was neither hot, nor tasted of hatch green chiles. It was literally one of the least flavorful salsas I've ever tasted. I am betting it had been sitting for days in the fridge. My guest had the fajita beef burrito which was mostly beans, very little beef. What there was had a decent flavor, but the cut of meat was very cheap. My 16oz draft beer was $7.50! Hard to judge value when the food was so poor, but our service was good and the atmoshpere is a bit weird but pleasant. We live quite close by, but will not be back soon. Try El Karajo just around the corner which is better And more authentic in every way.
Use to be a great restaurant when they first opened. Now employees are unhappy, aggressive and rude. Ordered to go & was treated like trash by the 2 girls working to go when I arrived to pick it up. Order was incorrect had to go in. I was very kind to the same to go girls. The girl tried argue which i refrained from. I went outside and had call the manager after to get it resolved. Attitudes of the 2 girls were so bad that I threw away the food because I feared that they tampered with it. The enchiladas were empty. I will never ever eat at Chuys again due how horrible the staff is. I am also reaching out to corporate on how poorly I was treated along of with my dash cam footage that caught it all. Attached is a photo of the empty enchiladas.
After visiting Chuy’s for the first time from my boyfriend’s recommendation, I thought let’s give it a go. The food was delicious but what made the experience better was our waitress Ariana, and the rest of the staff who were all so kind and attentive yet also laid back in a good way. The inside is decorated fun and inviting too. Thank you for being another place added to my list of options.
7/5/22-We ended up at this place when we found Tacobe was closed and Benedict's was way over priced. The food is a great price for the amount you get and it tastes good. The service is also good and they are very understanding. The bad part of our meal experience was due to other guests. We were here on a work day during lunch and there were a lot of tables talking business. One of the tables beside us the lady was talking about micromanging employees to just get rid of the ones she doesn't like instead of trying to nuture and help people. She was also making a lot of discrimatory remarks. She's the one in the hat in the photos. We asked to be moved and the restaurant was great about getting us away from her. Just be aware that this place fills up with local workers and they have no issue about being loud and mean to people.
This place was fabulous! Best Mexican food I've had in Denver Tex Mex. Though there was a long line to get in, they made accommodations for us at the bar, which was not even set up with stools. I understand those are coming soon. Great drinks and reasonable prices. As good as I remember that the original was in Austin.Food: 5/5
We have missed Tex-Mex but found this restaurant during our vacation! Bring a framed pic of your dog and get a free appetizer. It’s such a fun, festive environment! We had awesome service and the manager even let us try all the sauces because it was our first time there. Yummy queso, warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa. We loved all the flavors. We definitely recommend Chuy’s and would go again if we lived closer!
