A combination municipal / volunteer department.
Cibolo Fire was founded in 1956 as a volunteer department and as the city has continued to grow and change so has the department. Cibolo Fire is now home to a combination of 12 Municipal Paid ( 1- Chief, 1- Part-time Assistant Chief, 1- Fire Marshall, 9 Firefighters), 15 Part-time Volunteers and 21 Volunteers all working together to provide the community with the best possible service.
