Submitted a police report almost a month ago due to receiving harassing messages for nearly a year. Called twice now and have heard nothing back. Just called again and the operator for district 1 was extremely rude and said to just change my phone number and there’s nothing they can do. The total disregard and lack of pro-active response is the reason so many women are killed by insane men like this. The fake texting app refuses to let me know who it is without police requesting the information. Absolutely ridiculous I cannot get help on this.
Just saw a video of a "swatting" incident. Sgt Kinney arrived and immediately violated a citizen's right to record the incident. I refuse to believe that CPD has supervisors in its ranks that do not understand the constitution. This video must have been "edited", otherwise I am truely appalled at the tyrannical policing that this officer displayed. No amount of "training" would help him. He has been this way and will be this way. No, I'm not judging, but I am a fruit inspector. Something about a bad apple in a bunch...
It takes a special type of person to commit to working a job that is meant to serve and protect the community and then literally do the exact opposite. I wish I could go through every instance my partner and I contacted this specific department and their subsequent lack of response, but then you’d be left with a novel. I think my personal favorite is the constant dishonesty this department shows time after time. If you report a concern, fight, illegal activity, etc etc, the officers have zero problem with lying and saying they took care of it, when in reality, they never showed up, or my personal favorite, drove right past it. Again, I can’t imagine putting this little of effort into any job let alone a job that’s meant to keep people safe. Hats off to all the CPD officers who find innovative ways to not do their job!
I went in thinking I was going to get help someone side swiped my car knock my mirror off in front my building. But I thought no worries it’s one of the city police cameras literally facing my car . The Black guy with glasses I should of got his name .He has the most Arrogant nonchalant attitude every . I didn’t feed in I ask is it anyway he can check into gettin footage so I can press charges for the hit and run . He told me I’m basically wasting my time nothin he can do for me . Had me wait didn’t say I’ll be right with you he continued a personal phone call unprofessionally making eye contact as if I’m a problem or a inconvenience. You guys need to do better the city needs better leaders he didn’t represent himself a leader nor a human today this is review is not cause I’m upset these are the type of people who we go to for help these people are the face representation of our city ! To operators who’s very unprofessional rude to front desk people at district 1 .
Cincinnati district 3 had made me almost lose all hope in Cincinnati police until I spoke to district 1 Officer Hoffbauer the consideration you showed me today is above and beyond 10min before you clock out to go home was absolutely 5stars 10 if I could give it your professional and considerate to fellow citizens I absolutely applaud you as a officer I wish everyone was like you unfortunately there not BUT YOU FOR SURE ARE ONE OF CINCINNATI BEST thank you for your service thank you for taking time to recite me instead of taking me to the CAN! Corrupt. Called to report one of their sergeants for threatening me with false charges when no law was broken as I attempted to enter city hall, A PUBLIC PLACE. No man is above the law and to blatantly allow officers to exist that bend laws for whoever is disgusting and it ruins public trust!!! You can not just make up laws as you go or threaten people and abuse your sense of power. This department is a DISGRACE!!!
Sgt. Scott is a unjust unfair officer. He conspired with Judge Grant when I tried fighting for justice. Karma is real!! Treat others the way you want to be treated. You were sworn to uphold the law with honesty, dignity, and respect and failed to do so. It's been years, but I will never forget how I was treated by the both of you. One day you will have to stand before the real judge, and answer for the things you've done wrong. I don't know how some people sleep at night, when their conscious isn't clear.
Best trained police department in the USA. In walnut hills, we are faced with alot of gun violence and break ins. Always prompt on the scene and always educated on ohio gun laws. Protect yourself and rest easy knowing great support is on the way.
Officer pulled to the scene of accident and did a half job looking and observing the scene at Main and Reading intersection downtown, he called my phone and said he didn’t see me as I was looking directly at him, he drove into the parking lot and had a big cigar in his hand , took a moment to get out of the car, then asked both sides of the story , and told me it was common sense which is unruly. I am in disbelief that you all would have a police officer whose taken advantage and smoking while in the police car and while on the job, an accident at that.
I was visiting Cincinnati. But on my way back home on a greyhound..in the cab ride we was hit by an impatient and very rude driver. I hurt my neck, whiplash And I told the officer that. But that I can't go to hospital there because my bus was due in 25 mins. There was 2 of us passengers the incident. But the officer didn't bother to put us on the accident report! I want to know WHY! Can't be proper procedure... The incident happened on about 9th n vine downtown Wonder why we have little faith in the "system"
