On my last visit, I had great, friendly service. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries- which was good, and a large popcorn- which was not. It was bad enough that I left the entire large popcorn sitting on the table, uneaten. The theater was clean and comfortable. I frequent this theater and always enjoy it. The ticket prices are very reasonable and normally the food is good. I will go back.
This place is very old! The seating has not been updated or cleaned in at least 20 years. The tables are far from the seats. So eating comfortably is not easy. The strings are gone in the chair, and it smells old. I arrived at 335 for a 345pm movie, sat in my seat, and pressed the service button, and it took the waiter until after the movie started 410p to come take my order. He was impatient and bothered, never greeted me, didn't say anything except, do you know what you want to order? The sound quality is bad. There is so much clutter in the hallways, and the restroom was not clean. The food was okay, ordered tenders and fries.
Place looks old and is outdated but it is a nice movie theatre. It's quieter than the huge theatres in the area and the food is awesome. Hidden gem for sure. The chicken nachos were great!
The person working the ticket counter had a nasty attitude towards me and everyone else. The person taking the order acted like he didn’t want to be doing his job. Overall the food was okay, bonus points for it being hot. The portions and prices were not it. We payed 7.99 for 9 funnel fries with barely any powdered sugar. The seats are also very uncomfortable. The large popcorn is way overpriced for what you get. I could pay that same amount at regal and get 10x more.
Cinema is cool, good food, usually good and accurate service. When ordering food ask for extras then, know what extras you’ll need bc servers are racing to fill food orders—therefore they may forget about you, or slow getting back to you If you ask for something after you’ve been served. You can always walk down to the kitchen and ask there for what you need. It’s not a big deal: servers walk up and down dark stairs using cell light to get your orders to you so you may have get involved but not often at all. I usually like my server. Food and service It’s worth it, average prices, good food well prepared, esthetic display. I’ve been going here for years, family and friends too. Enjoy!
Firstly, the concept of a cinema cafe is intriguing and sets the stage for a unique movie-watching experience. The idea of being able to enjoy a meal while watching a film is appealing, and it is an aspect of The Cinema Cafe that initially drew me in. Unfortunately, my visit to The Hampton Cinema Cafe left much to be desired. The tables were placed in such proximity that it was rather difficult to navigate through the dining area comfortably. This lack of space made the overall experience feel cramped and somewhat uncomfortable. Moreover, the service at The Cinema Cafe was inconsistent. While some staff members were friendly and prompt in attending to guests, others seemed disinterested and inattentive. This inconsistency in service detracted from the overall enjoyment of the visit. Another area of concern was the quality and variety of the menu items. While the concept of enjoying a meal while watching a movie is intriguing, the execution fell flat. The food options at The Cinema Cafe were limited and lacked diversity. Additionally, the quality of the food was mediocre at best, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and presentation. One positive aspect of The Cinema Cafe was the selection of movies available. They showcased a decent range of movies, catering to various genres and tastes. This was a redeeming factor, as it provided an opportunity to enjoy a film that suited individual preferences. In summary, while The Cinema Cafe has an intriguing concept and a decent movie selection, there were several areas in which it fell short. The crowded seating area, inconsistent service, and mediocre menu options detracted from the overall experience. Should improvements be made in these areas, The Cinema Cafe may regain its potential and offer a more enjoyable movie-watching experience.
Although this location isn’t updated with the new style chairs. I love the Old School chair vibes. They play good classic music as you’re walking the hallways. Customer service was great. I didn’t get freshly popped popcorn after I requested it, but it was a slow day, so understandable, I guess.
We took our son for part of his bday celebration. I wish we had gone to another location. This one is disgusting. The arcade is a complete rip off. My son won over 1000 tickets and unfortunately their prize counter had nothing for him to take except candy. The cinemas are OLD and rickety. I almost thought the seat was going to fall apart. Our call buttons didn’t work. The floor smells like moldy feet. The food was okay, but I felt AWFUL feeding it to my family since the establishment was so unsanitary. Then, the M&Ms that came w my popcorn were old and stale. The only good part of this was that after being constipated for days I was finally able to use the restroom after eating their food ‍ so there is the silver lining for all of you optimists! Avoid this theater and go to another location. I gave two stars instead of one only because of my stomach relief ‍
I am leaving this 5-Star review strictly for the staff at this place! I bought the wrong day tickets and was unaware and nearly had a complete melt-down at the check in counter yes, I'm that much of an emotional wreck and called myself a dumb idiot. The WONDERFUL lady working the ticket counter immediately spoke with her manager and fixed us up with 2 of the same tickets for that day. Without me having to ask her because at that point I had stepped to the side to take some deep breaths. After the movie I thanked her again and she walked me out while giving me a pep talk, hugging me, and telling me to never call myself dumb again. I haven't experienced kindness like in this I'm not sure how long! I was absolutely touched and honored to have met her - what a sweet, amazing woman. Talk about going above and beyond!
4 stars cause the customer service was great and the food was decent. But this place literally STINKSSSSS. It needs a deep cleaning, and the smell stays on you when you leave. Took a shower immediately when I got home.
