Fiancé and I had a fantastic anniversary dinner with the best service. From the moment we arrived to us being served by Eddy we felt so special. They provided complimentary appetizer and chefs dessert plate. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience we appreciated it.Food: 5/5
I always love the food and the vibe here. The confit duck in the Duo of Duck is delicious. Good place for a business dinner or date night. Staff is always friendly.Food: 5/5
My husband and I came here for a romantic Friday night dinner. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the food was fantastic and the service was very nice. Unfortunately, two things ruined the dinner for us. First, they seated a four top in a table about six inches away from us. We were the only people currently in the section and there were two empty four tops available in the same waiter’s section. Second, there was a rather rowdy bar crowd screaming and generally being obnoxious. If you’re looking for a more intimate setting, I suggest a different restaurant.
Food was the best I've had in Providence. It had excellent flavour and texture in each dish, though the portion sizes were rather large. Staff was friendly and reasonably relaxed, despite the stuffy though pretty atmosphere. If I'm honest, prices seem higher than I expect, but that is consistent with what i have seen of the rest of Providence, and I don't begrudge them that.
We came for restaurant week— we were able to be seated close to our reservation time and everyone was kind. The food was good but not everything was great. I liked the short rib with mushroom risotto and creme brûlée but thought the pumpkin soup was lacking a component to make it great. My fiancé found his choices to be pretty average calamari and lobster ravioli. The cheesecake was a little too sweet and after 9 pm, the music is far too loud. It seems like Circe isn’t sure if it’s a restobar or a nightclub. Its certainly worth trying or dropping by for a drink, but it is a little pricy for the value and taste, and it is very hard to have a conversation.
Decor: I loved the white walls with the pop of color. They had some festive holiday garlands hanging by the bar. So pretty! Service: I thought the service was way better than we have experienced in Boston. My husband thought it was a bit slow because they took a long time to bring his gin and tonic and the entrees came just as we were starting to wonder where our food was. Food: We started with the special: cooked oysters. It was delicious! We had the green salad and Caesar salad. They split them for us. Thank you! Entree: I had the mushroom bolognese and my husband had the chicken. Our friends had the specials: Lamb shank and salmon. Everything we had was delicious! I was very impressed by the mushroom bolognese. Those plates were squeaky clean by the end of the evening. We decided we are going to start coming to Providence for dinner because Boston’s dinning experience has been disappointing in comparison.
We went there for restaurant week. Everything was delicious! My husband and I shared everything we had. My favorite though was the lobster ravioli. There were chunks of lobster in it. Definitely going back.Recommended dishesDeviled Eggs
My friends and I went for restaurant week last night and it was one of the BEST meals of my life. Some restaurant week offerings are very limited, but not Circe! They offered a wide range of specialties and I was very impressed the attention to detail for each dish. We even got the drink chandelier, with flaming limes and different specialty drinks! Our server, Camilla made it a great experience as well. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and courteous. We will definitely be going back
That’s amazing place to have dinner and good moments.Food: 5/5
