Circle K Great Lakes

I've just stopped going to Circle K's since they installed the self checkout; nothing here is worth your time. They cut their staff to barebones and nobody is watching the counter. Alcohol and tobacco sales, the two things most often purchased at a gas station, require an employee. You'll constantly find people just waiting at the self checkout trying to get anyone's attention to complete what should be a simple transaction. Lines build up. An employee comes over for that one transaction and then poof, they vanish again. Rinse and repeat. Ringing out takes FOREVER. I don't blame it on the employees, companies like Cricke K make careless decisions because leadership never has to pay the interest on those poor choices; staff and customers do. Trying to purchase anything here has become an absolute chore. Hard pass.

Worst gas station in the area. Being forced to use a self check out sucks but being forced to use one that NEVER works is just a whole new level of bad business. The store's floor is usually dirty and the items on the shelves are a mess. Multiple times I have been cashing something up and it is the wrong cost because the item wasn't above the correct price tag. The employees are rude to customers; giving sarcastic remarks, not helping when asked, ignoring people at the registers. The sitting area outside and the area around the gas pumps are filled with trash and not clean. For over a month the vacuum nozzle outside was filled with vomit can't control other people's horrible behavior but it sat dirty and unusable for weeks. Just save yourself the headache and use another gas station.

It's a gas station... some charge for a cup of water which really grinds my gears.. people argue like I don't understand, which I do but I was born in the 80s and I grew up in a world where water that didn't come in a sealed bottle, was free. And by golly that's the world I choose to live in.

I will not be forced into using an automatic register! The cashier gave me no other option so I told her to keep the merchandise they lost a regular customer!

How is it better having a self checkout system that barely works and you have 10 people waiting in line and 3 workers behind the counter playing on their phones talking to each other? It's like this at every circle k now. The employees are very rude if you tell them you don't want to use the broken self checkout, "it's against corporate policy" to what do your job.

I typically like circle k stores and the systems are very easy to use for self checkout. This one however I just had an issue with. An employee by the name of Daina "most likely misspelled because she was not wareing her name tag correctly. Harrased and embarrassed be while using the self checkout because I put to much change in. I was also told to go somewhere else next time and when I asked why I was being treated this way and what the issue was I was told I'm not owed an explanation.

Stop by for a small soda for 89 cents and some other items. Just really like a pretzel more often.

Fast service, cheap self-serve gasoline products

This is probably one of the cleanest stores I've seen in a while. The staff Are always friendly the prices are good there's outdoor seating. And the pizza is a must get if it's your first time. For a gas station it's really good.

Good customer service till today three customers in line as I'm getting coffee last person cashes out I'm coming over to cash out and told I have to wait because it's the end of the day I guess she was in a hurry to cash out her drawer. Not polite at all.
