A choice location downtown with a cozy ambiance. I ordered the lamb curry. It was a generous portion for which it made 4 meals for me. The dish was heavy on potatoes but also had alot of lamb and veggies. It was very tasty and the basmati rice was great! The concept of a restaurant offering food dishes from around the middle east and asia is a great idea. The server was very friendly and attentive - next time I'm in Findlay, Ohio - I'll be stopping by again.
I was very excited to try this restaurant, and was very happy. I am so glad this type of establishment and food is available as it's hard for me to eat vegan on the road. They offer gluten-free also if needed. I ordered tge tour of the world Veg and a falafel plate, both excellent. However, I did find a random piece of chicken in the dishsampler, which kinda sucked, but only one, and I guess I get it. Oversight.... overall excellent food and staff that I met. Vegetarian options: Vegan specific, just ask. They are used to the request I would bet
Super friendly staff. Visiting my son he suggested this restaurant because he ordered delivery from there on a regular. We ordered " Around the World " for 2. It was plenty of food for 2 and very good. I will be honest I don't remember all the things that was on the plate but they were all good. The different chicken was delicious. The stir fried vegetables were delicious. The soup was and the rice was delicious. We added gyro lamb meat as an addition. The gyro meat was pretty standard. Overall the restaurant was clean and the restroom pretty clean.
Update! Returned to the area a few years later and Dolly once again, exceeded my expectations! This time around it was the lamb shank. Delicious, tender, big portion size, great price! Original review: An absolutely amazing meal! Dolly and her team are something special. Go check them out!
I got the around the world platter, chicken drum stick was a bit bland 3/5. Other then that everything was a 5/5! Oh and the Indian tea was 6/5! I would recommend y’all this!Food: 4/5
I was traveling back to Columbus from Detroit when I started craved Indian food. Went to Google maps and typed in “Indian food. It directed me to this restaurant. When I arrive, it didn’t look like a traditional Indian food but then, as I started to read the menu after I sat down, the place seemed pretty interesting. The menu is limited to South Asian Indian and Nepali, Southeast Asian Vietnamese and Thai food with a mix of Island Pacific filipino. The concept seemed really interesting with such a collaboration of different Asian food all under one roof. Decided to change my mind on Indian food and chose chicken adobo, which comes from the wasn’t all that great in which I’ve had better chicken adobo, so I rank the food a 3/5. The service is 3/5 for me as the owner seemed to yell at her employees along with a argument, of price with a customer’s bill. For me the highlight of the place gets a 5/5 for originality. Recommendation for this place is a must but I’d say stay away from the chicken adobo as it just wasn’t as good as I’ve expected from other places.
Very unique experience. I love the options and the around the world sample meal. If you enjoy hot tea, the Indian tea is a must. You cannot go wrong with anything in the menuFood: 5/5
We got two around the world platters to share, one vegetarian and the other chicken. The concept of the dish is inspiring, being able to try several cuisines from around the world, but the reality of the dish was something else. It was mostly pasta, rice, and potatoes with different sauces... and the chicken was fairly dry and the veggie platter was basically a carb platter... With sparse veggies. Other folks in our group chose other dishes and they enjoyed them. I wouldn't be opposed to returning but I would not get the around the world platter.
They have these black beans on the Vietnamese noodles that are ridiculously good. If given the chance, I would eat them from a 5 gallon bucket with my bare hands until I puked over my naked gut.
Great food but the place is understaffed. Im afraid that the owner may not be able to to pay a full staff. Most of the time, the restaurant seems to be run with no more than three or four employees. My wife and I have watched the wait staff work in the kitchen as well as at the tables. Those poor souls when they work during busy hours. It's hard to imagine how hard it is for them to juggle phone calls, online orders, and a full house while also preparing some things in the kitchen. I remember having a hard time just bussing tables when I was younger so I feel for them kids. The only other issue is that it is hard to find parking nearby because of the downtown location. Best to plan your visit with that in mind. Aside from those, the food is really good and affordable. The portions on some of the dishes are a bit big so you'll probably end up taking some home. That's not exactly a bad thing though. The staff is friendly and very homely. There is a home-like coziness here. The owner is a real doll. Funny little lady with a big heart. My wife and I adore watching her entertain guests when she gets a break from the kitchen. Watch out though, she'll take dozens of pictures for you. My wife and I love the Around the World dish with gyro meat added. She is also a fan of the Sunigan soup. I dont know how it's spelled. The place is a bit small so I'd make a reservation if you are dining with a group of more than four people. Vegetarian options: There are vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options from what we've asked. The noodles are not wheat based. You can ask for vegetables to replace the pita bread if you order hummus. Wheelchair accessibility: The place looks relatively easy to operate a standard wheelchair in and they do have the safety bars in the restroom.
