Reviews
I am writing this review so that no one has to go through what was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had with anyone working on my home. I definitely DO NOT recommend Jeff Cranor from Circle Satellite. I have never left a review for any company who has come to my home, but I feel like it’s my duty to let everyone know he is the most unprofessional, unprepared, and rudest service person I’ve ever had to deal with. I contacted him to do a simple swap out of the LNBF on my satellite dish located on the roof for my elderly father. I included measurements and pictures. He said that he could come out on a certain date and time he was late and gave me his rates and how long it would take. Not only did it take him over 3 hours to do it way above his estimate, he had me HOLD THE LADDER for him the entire time he was up there! I was astonished—when I called him, I specifically told him I was hiring an actual company to do this read: him so that they would have all the necessary materials and I wouldn’t have to deal with holding a ladder like I had to do for the guy who cleaned my gutters. He didn’t even finish the work I hired him for. Shortly after he left, the satellite stopped working. I contacted him and he gave me a couple suggestions on what to do to fix it, none of which worked, and said he’d come back out to check it out. Well, he never came. I gave him 2-3 months in case he was busy, so he had more than enough time. I emailed him and he claimed that I intimidated him ??? while he was at my house and he wouldn't come back. There was nothing to indicate he was "intimidated" in any way, shape, or form. None of the text messages or emails I have stating that he will come back and fix the incorrect installation, or the fact that he had me hold a ladder for him hours indicate any such feelings of fear. It was just totally ridiculous of him to say that. For heaven’s sake, if I 'intimidated" him so much why did he trust me enough to have me hold a ladder he was standing on for an hour afterwards!? What would I have to gain by intimidating a person I hire to fix something? Why would he even stay if I intimidate him? What started out as a simple LNBF swap so that my elderly father could watch his satellite turned into the worst experience I’ve had with a service person in my home. I’ve never met an installer more inept, unprepared, or unprofessional. If you’re looking for a person to take advantage of your old parents, then by all means, call Jeff Cranor from Circle Satellite. If you want someone who will leave your property in worse condition than when he came, call Jeff Cranor from Circle Satellite. In response to my criticism of his lack of service, he called me a Muslim which I’m not and told me that Americans are already cautious of Muslims. He seemed awfully happy to accept my money, though. I understand that he installs security systems. Does this sound like a person you can trust with your safety?
John doesn't mention that he brought an ax out of his house. It looked like a weapon instead of a tool. He removed the sheath and stood around with it for 5 minutes or so. His real name is not John either.
Great Service
