They should fix their pay at the pump receipt printers. It's getting rather annoying to go inside to get the receipt and wait for it for 10 minutes.

This Citgo has seen better days and a little run down, but the staff is friendly and the gas is usually one of the better prices around. The pump lot is fairly easy to get in and out. There is a decent selection of convenient store goods at convenient store prices, of course. The shop is especially nice for the surrounding neighborhoods that are within walking distance.

Service was fast and friendly. Great place to get gas or snacks

I accidentally gave the wrong pump number to clerk for prepay. When I realized my error, I went in to ask the clerk how we can fix, in the interim another person had begun pumping at the pump I had paid for. The clerk said I can't help you, talk to the person who is at the pump. This went over like a lead balloon and the rude customer ignored me but didn't seem to mind taking some of my prepaid gas. So the clerk basically said I was out the $20.00. Worst Customer Service.

Can't find anything to complain about.

If I could give this place a 0 I would!! Last night around 6:15 I stopped in at CITGO gas station @ 1115 N Fairfield in Round lake beach il, to purchase some tobacco products. As I reach the counter I asked for a pack of Red I didn't even get to finish asking for what I wanted and the cashier KRISTA proceeds to tell me no....so I said I have my ID and showed it to her....and she says idc about your ID your trying to purchase for that guy that just left and refused to serve me. "Now: As I'm pulling up to the store a younger black male come out and gets in his own car right as I'm pulling up" I guess he was trying to purchase something similar to what I was getting, but she didn't sell to him. Idk y maybe he didn't have ID or was to young whatever the case idk the guy! She tells me that she knows I'm trying to purchase for my husband that just walked out the door! OH...the argument was on...y'all could see the flames burning in my eye, she almost unleashed the beast, I'm still a work in progress....just because the guy that came in b4 me was black now we're married! So I'm standing there in SHOCK because I'm wondering what in the RACIST hell she talking about and who the hell is she referring to! Of course I know So I'm looking and asking her is she serious!?! She says "yes I am and you will not be getting served and proceeds to take the next customer behind me...she was rude asf! I reply I'm not with anyone I'm making my OWN purchase." She said she didn't care a kept accusing me of this wrong doing! I ask her for her name and she's gonna wave her badge in my face, acting super rude like "it's KRISTA it's KRISTA" being super cocky with me!! she proceeds to take more customers....It was so Embarrassing to be treated like this in front of customers coming in and out. It was uncalled for her KRISTA to imply I was buying the tobacco for my someone who I didn't even know just because we're both black! I'm 40+ well over the ID age ok!! But this store has the rudest ** women except for C.C. I've encountered. The cashier name KRISTA was so ugly literally...and didn't want to wait on me as I only wanted a 1 pack of cigars, I then asked for a manager TIFFANY she comes out of the back she wasn't any better...with the same kinda rude attitude like KRISTA! TIFFANY come from the back walks me to the front doors to verify the situation and she telling me to calm down, I can't now I'm to worked up, I could believe it!! Now I'm beyond shocked at both broads... so typical. As Im standing there defending my right to purchase, you have random customers telling me "she has the right to refuse service to anyone she feels... I felt like Oprah in the color purple when she hit that man and they all started ridiculing her, that's how they did me! And I know this review will go nowhere but I don't understand how CITGO on 1115 N Fairfield in Round Lake Beach il, can allow their employees to be so blatantly RACIST, RUDE, Dysfunctional..... I don't know who owns CITGO on 1115 N Fairfield in Round Lake Beach il, but maybe you can send some undercover to check out this store better yet take a look at your camera footage because your employees with the way they act are a liability for your company! My complaint is about the racist/rude employees." This company does not enforce friendly customer service they must don't give a damn about the customers who bring money to your pot!!! "KRISTA needs to be FIRED her customer service skills SUCK and she a RACIST she think all BLACK people know each other or are related. I am not going to be treated like this! With all this being said I still made my purchase because I wasn't gonna let them accuse me of something that I didn't do or wasn't even ever in my intentions.

Just pumped almost 22 gallons of diesel into a 21 gallon tank that had 2 galons left in it. Not coming back. Pumps need to be calibrated.

I went in the seat go to purchase a pop and I asked one of the two workers what time does the store close she didn’t even make eye contact with me when she responded to my question and then when I go up to the cash register and try to purchase my pump the other worker had her eyes looking to the side and asked me is that all I wanted and I said yes and she made some really rude hand gesture and told me that I was OK to go yeah she gave me my pop for free but I felt that this worker was being very rude to me because neither of them are iContact with me and overall we’re just very rude

Just get us in and out please ...we don't like to wait in line while you cashiers waste our time chatting with customers...I had 2 people in front of me took 6 minutes to get out of there.get it done quit having fun...I work In this mess too...less time spent in enclosed places the better for us all

It's a great location, very convenient. Never understood why everyone employed here is crabby AND rude all the time and most of them have worked here for quite some time.
