I can honestly say that choosing citizens school of nursing was the best career choice I could have ever made. The instructors and faculty were welcoming from day 1, always willing to help and encourage us. They were available and answered on weekends, evenings when they are off the clock. They truly wanted to see each and every student succeed. The atmosphere is wonderful, the facility is well kept & always tidy. Learning & engagement is 100%! Small classroom sizes, allowing for more individualized teaching/help. Citizens School of Nursing prepared me to enter this profession & I feel confident doing it. I’ve made lifelong friendships & will forever be grateful. Citizens School of Nursing- Instructors, Faculty, Staff & my graduating class will always have a special place in my heart. I am proud to be a Citizens School of Nursing graduate!
I had a great experience at Citizens! The teachers are great, if you need help they will absolutely take the time to help you. You get way more clinical experience then any other nursing school around time wise and variety of places you go! The program is tough and you have to work hard but hey it’s nursing school it’s supposed to be tough. I feel a lot of the negative comments are from people who couldn’t make it through the program and you have to put the time and hard work in for sure. If you are looking for a nursing school call and talk to them you won’t be disappointed. You will have a great nursing school experience and land a great job after graduation.
Although nursing school will never be easy… the staff here was amazing and overall fantastic to get an education from. They are aways in your corner willing to help every step of the way… I couldn’t of asked for a better education and/or class that I had graduated with. If you are looking into nursing schools, please please PLEASE consider CSON. If I had to redo it all over again and thank gosh i don’t i would still choose this school over and over again :
Citizens was an amazing school to go to for nursing. The teachers are absolutely incredible. Clinical experiences are throughout all of AHN and give a wide variety of specialties. Clinical days are very helpful in gaining knowledge through the nurses perspective. Overall, the program is wonderful with the help of Ati to prepare for boards. I recommend coming to Citizens School of Nursing for a career and a great education.
This is the best nursing school around! The teachers actually care about their students and do all they can to help each and every student to do their best! The location is optimal with free parking and a lot of eateries and stores around. Hospitals want CSON nurses because everyone knows CSON produces the best nurses around!!
I graduated in 2019 from citizens school of nursing! I chose this program over 2 others based on numerous things! 1. A friend of mine had gone there and had wonderful things to say about the classes and the staff! 2. I also liked the fact that there was more clinical and more experiences over other programs we got go to core, children’s home, 3 different hospitals, and numerous other awesome places while also taking care of a home health patient etc! 3.They put you into smaller groups and that group becomes like your family! We all studied together and pushed each other to do our best! I would never have passed if it wasn’t for my classmates and the amazing teachers! If I needed help, I could walk up to just about any of the staff and they would figure out a way to help me! All in all I am happy I chose citizens! My teachers have all kept in touch with me and I really truly feel like they care about where you end up there!
I graduated from CSON in 2008. I transferred in from another not so nice program.we wont get into that, but i am able to compare ; At CSON i hit the ground running. I feel i had the best experiences and training here. Ive been thru many interviews and the managers were always impressed with CSON graduates. Ive been in nursing for 14 years and have been a NP for the past 2. Without the support from CSON i wouldnt have gotten where i am today!! *also, they were located at the old Citizens hospital, it was a tight, cramped space. I am so happy slightly jealous they are in a better space.
I graduated from CSON in 2016 and really enjoyed the program. It is a very difficult program, but all the instructors were very helpful and if you are willing to learn they will take the time to teach you. I chose CSON over other nursing programs because they have a great reputation, and they have great clinical experiences. I knew I wanted to go to CSON when my first interaction with staff was over the phone with Mary Ann, she was friendly, helpful, and encouraging. I recommend CSON to anyone looking to start or continue their nursing career.
Citizens school of nursing has an awesome program. The program is very hands on, and gives you a lot of clinical experience which one helps you better understand things and two helps when you start your job as a RN. The instructors are amazing, they are always there to help when needed, they want to see everyone succeed, and feel confident when it’s time to take the NCLEX.
Not only did I choose CSON, they chose me as well. One of the best decisions I ever made in pursuing my nursing career was attending CSON. Very friendly atmosphere. Great instructors and clinical sites! I passed NCLEX the first time, thanks to the great preparation and skills provided by CSON.
