DO NOT bank here. I tried so hard to support this back owned bank but they have lock my card leaving me stranded in another state. You cannot get anything fixed on this when calling with having to go through their ancient methods. They cannot even change your number on your account when you get a new number. I have called them and told them I have no way of coming to the location and still they cannot help. They are supposed to clear your cash 24 hours after you deposit cash and it took almost two days to get my access to my money. I called and informed them I was in another state and they would not even bother to let me know if they have travel restrictions or not. As soon as I get a chance I’m pulling out all of my funds and closing my account. Their practices are one of the main reason why the black community does not keep money with the institutions with in the black community.
This is the worse Bank in the state of Georgia, its no number on Google to contact the East Point Office, the App makes you log you business Id, User Id and Password everytime. The people in their are so nonchalant about you problems. Its like Mayberry. I deposited a check 11 days ago that still havent cleared. I order a replacement card that I had to go up their and physically fill out the e sheet three weeks ago still havent arrived. All I wanted to do is try to bank black and its the worse experience ever. Dont not Bank CTB they will never answer your call.
East Point Branch- I would luv 2 -Have a Rep greet me up on Entering -I waited 30 mins to c a financial counselor while 4 others had already been waiting 30+ minutes. I never got 2 discuss my Savings account with a Rep. -I will try The Cascade Branch & hope 4 a better outcome
This bank is horrible. Their system is not user friendly. They made updates and I’m not able to access my account with my own information. The customer service rep was rude and sounded like I interrupted her TV show when I called. Two days in a row I’ve been on hold over an hour. They aren’t open on the weekend and I’m tired of this nonsense. Withdrawing my money and going back with big banks. I tried to support this black owned business but I don’t play about my money. You all need to go back to the drawing board.
This bank is TRASH! Do not trust them with your money. One weekend they were making “updates” and I was not able to access my funds at all. My card was declined, I have late fees etc. When I tried to close my accounts, which is still an ongoing process, the teller was argumentative with me about it. You wait in line for an hour. You hold on the phone for an hour plus. They try to charge you extra fees to cover up their mistakes. They tell you they’ll call you back and that never happens. I could go on...
It was the the worst visit ever I came in to discuss my account I had a great welcome entering branch I don't remember the young lady name but she was very professional I told her I was here to discuss a unauthorized transaction on my account and she proceeded to help me with my request while waiting I hear the representative talk with another person about personal issues and was later received a call from the nice young lady that greeted me to tell her we have a customer here to resolve the issue with his account she later said have him to report his issue and come back tomorrow I WAS LITERALLY STUNNED !!! I later went to the Panola Rd branch and resolve my issue in the matter of 20 minutes Im a Very Disappointed Customer....
I hate to do this but I no longer can take this mediocrity. Hands down the worst bank I have ever been a part of in the history of life. The service could be way better. The teller drive thru is slow. You walk in and nobody speaks. The system is so hold. it is 2019 and they are still operating like 1983. There is always an excused why they can't cash your check. I bank with you. the least you can do is cash a check. No ATM reimbursement, no perks, never a location close by. I will be shutting my account down this week. Terrible
Switched my business and personal account to this bank. Worst experience I have had in the banking industry. Didn’t receive my card till 2 months later, line is all the way around the corner, only one teller working, they never answer the phone, and you can never get a live person on customer service. Tried to give my business to a Black Owned bank, but can’t tolerate not having access to my own money.
People are always complaining about something especially if they don’t get their way. Everything isn’t going to go your way all the time. Things happen get over it. We need to do better as a people. This lady Sandra Watson lay off the alcohol and get your head right. The ladies at the Eastpoint location are great. Always giving excellent customer service.
I agree with Zachary. My brother was here from out of state and said he heard so much about this black-owned bank. I was also looking to move my money from WF for other reasons. We walked in at 3:22 they don't close until 4 and the manager was holding a personal conversation with another customer. After 15 minutes, I told him I wanted to leave. She must have heard me, so she came out and looked at the sign in sheet. My name was first, and when she asked how she could help us, I told her to scratch my name off he could go instead. She started asking all types of questions about how he would deposit money, use his atm card, etc, because he did not live here. It was so off-putting he too said never mind. It was as if she didn't even want us to open an account. Weird...
