I took off a star because of the amount of fat I had on my pulled pork sandwich. It was good though after I took the fat off. I would come back just for the sides though. My favorite was the Mac and cheese and the fries. My husband enjoyed his brisket sandwich. It was a lot of food for a decent price and we were so hungry. They also had a nice, clean atmosphere.
First time customer! My business partners and I decided to come here for a meeting and I'm so glad we did! I had their More Cowbell sandwich and it was full of flavor - and even better with the BBQ sauce they had! I just used the one that looked the most spicy I originally came here for the fried pickles since I saw they had that here and I'm so glad their fried pickles did not disappoint Both my business partners also thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well! We also shared an order of the peach cobbler which I do recommend sharing considering the generous portion they give here. Also delicious : Before one of the employees left after her shift, she even asked me how I liked my sandwich since she was the one that recommended it to me in the first place. I thought that was so nice of her! Love to know she cared about our first experience here. We will definitely come back since we work in the Park Ridge area! Great food, great people, nothing not to love about this place.

The restaurant was clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. I loved my salad! My husband's meat sampler was so delish! The brisket was to die for, the pulled pork was amazing and they have an array of tasty barbecue sauces you can choose from! We also had some of the cornbread, and peach cobbler and Mac and cheese! All the food was excellent!
Everyone loved the brisket sandwich pack. Fed 7 teenagers with leftovers. It was ready on time. Pickup was a little chaotic but what good bbq spot isn't a little crazy. Just be patient when you walk in if its busy and they will get to you.

Been here a few times, pork and brisket are good, sides and pie was good, for the first time shelled out $30 for a full slab or ribs, and I'm not 2 years old,, I don't need them cut for me, that sux, then i started eating them, why so much seasoning, the smoked flavor should be just enough. i ate about 6 ribs and that was all i could take. not sure who's putting a pound of seasoning on smoked ribs but, please go home for the day and let ppl that know what there doing season them. after that i was in the washroom lots and burping up ur seasoning all night and even some of the next day with only 6 ribs ate. other then the ribs this is a good place to get a good meal for a good price. just stay away from the ribs when the overseasoner is working.
Went to City BBQ for lunch with a friend. I ordered two meats brisket and pork and two sides salad and Mac n cheese. I was really disappointed with the meat--the pork was extremely dry and the brisket was overcooked that parts of it had a jerkey texture. The side salad was a larger portion than the meat combined. For the price of the meat, I expected larger portions. The atmosphere was quite loud. Service was decent--its order at the counter and then food is brought out.
We ordered for dine-in and ate on the patio. The ordering experience was easy, and friendly. I told the cashier it was our first time there, and he explained things and pointed a few things out. In fact, I asked what he recommended as a first order, if the Lolo's pulled pork would be a good choice, and he said yes, explaining the flavors a bit more in detail. Then I asked which sauce would go well with that, and that I like sweet, and he agreed it'd be a good mix. And it was! I hardly stopped once I started eating it, and the side of cornbread I got was a good size, and really tasty. I also ordered some kids plates, which were more than enough food but not overly pricey. The chicken nuggets are more of a chicken tender, with crisp, flavorful, but not spicy breading. It was juicy on the inside and came with a small cup of extra-long mac n'cheese as the side we picked, and a drink apple juice, milk, etc. They brought the food out to us, and the server was super friendly, joking with the kids a little, and made us feel not just welcome, but like coming back again soon! Thanks for the great lunch experience!
The best BBQ I have had, good coleslaw and potato salad , OK hush puppies. Love this place. The owner puts his heart into the food and it is excellent. Vegetarian options: BBQ veg? OK the coleslaw, potato salad and fries might be vegetarian but why would you go here for veg? Parking: Reasonable parking behind the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Seems fully accessible
