To be honest i was passing through and needed to send so important emails so i parked and accessed the wifi for a quick session. Thank you Bay Saint Louis Library for helping me out of a jam.
I absolutely LOVE this library! The ladies are always friendly. They used to have juice/coffee in the morning, I'll have to see if they still do that.. They occasionally have book sales and there is always something going on activity planned and a beautiful children's reading area.
I don’t know why it took me so long to go to the BSL branch of the Hancock County Library. I was spending thousands yearly for books on Amazon - I am a vociferous and fast reader. When I finally wised up and visited our library I was so pleased to find a great selection of books, many additional services, in a comfortable setting. And the staff - what can I say - they are so welcoming and helpful. The Books For Sale are such a good deal. I can’t tell you how many books mainly hardbacks I have purchased for $1. What a deal!! Some of them look brand new and I have given many as gifts. I “pay it forward” and donate most of the books I have read. I have always loved libraries. I grew up in a small town and was a frequent visitor of our local one. I feel at home in the BSL branch and find it a wonderful place to spend time or just a quick in and out.
Great setup. Very helpful and friendly staff. They've helped me with interlibrary loans a couple times. They have a decent selection of modern and classic movies and television shows. They even have a pretty good selection of high quality graphic novels like Fables, Y: The Last Man, and Saga.
Friendly, helpful staff with a peaceful environment to study and read. Also a great place to take you kids!

Waveland Library is normally a helpful place. Today was not. I had one of the librarians tell me I was disturbing someone that was studying. I told her no problem, stopped what I was doing. Then decided I was going to leave. I got up and checked to see if anybody was in the library. Not a soul, just me and her. It was ok for her to talk as loud as she wanted, she didn't care if she was disturbing me. Asking me to be quiet is one thing, WHEN I am making noise, but when you blatantly yell as I am going out the door, who is disturbing who? My advice don't go to the Waveland Library on wednesday's.....loud mouth will make a point of disturbing you.
They are very helpful! Even when you call cause you might need a phone number, ask for the reference desk and they will help you find a website or a phone number. I mean really you all just dont know how many times I have taken advantage of that opportunity. Helpful they are!
