This store is huge, and connects with Ashley Furniture. Ashley is the largest vertically integrated furniture manufacturer in the country. The place is nicely arranged and flows well. The sales people are available and super helpful but I never felt smothered. I wish that I had remembered this store when I was shopping for a king bed, as their assortment and styles are broad. I would classify the overall selection as solid middle — nothing is cheap, little is super high end. This is a place for good style and good construction. There is also a very nice collection of art, but if you want inexpensive <$100ish art, go to Homegoods or thrift stores. Warning - there is no negotiating here. You can try of course, but I understand their policy to be priced as marked. Watch the return policy carefully, to assure no surprises if for some reason you are unhappy. When we moved to Fort Myers, we had to buy all new furniture for the living room and the master bedroom. We stopped in a few different furniture shops before we stopped in City Furniture. We were quickly greeted by Roy Black and he was a pleasure to work with. I don't like being bothered as I do my initial look around the store and Roy respected this wish and allowed us to look around. When we did have questions Roy was quick and honest with his answers. We purchased all of our furniture with Roy and we would highly recommend him to others. It was a great experience. Thank you Roy.
We purchased over $12,000 furniture. The quality is very poor. Do not buy the warranty. City Furniture does not back up the warranty. Only 9 months after purchase and very little use the outdoor furniture was discolored and cushions were out of shape. They do not care about their customers. There are other stores that have better quality and better customer care.
Excellent customer service from the Ashely side of this store. As soon as I walked into the door I was greeted with a smile and “how can I help you?” Mark was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable! He went above and beyond any customer service I have received. He made sure and went out of his way so that my mom and I left happy. I would highly recommend this place!!! Also, they are pet friendly and treated my pet very well. Not only do they provide excellent customer service to humans, but to your pets too!!
I have bought tv stand, kids bed, queen bed set, and other furniture once moved here to FL. I regret buying from City furniture. The quality they sell is cheap, poor, and bad. It makes Ashley look bad since they associated. I ask for my bed to be fixed. They deny because it cant be fix. They so cheap to give a new one. They prefer a easy fix. The wood of the bed is very sad. They use two types of wood to hide the bad quality of wood. I will sue this company for so many things i have bought. My stand cost 4k and paid for insurrance and they dont want fix it. So dissapointed in this company.
We shopped at City Furniture in late June / early July. Ronnie C was the sales person that helped us. Our first visit we just looked at possible pieces we were interested in. Ronnie took notes of all of the pieces and emailed us a list for reference. Ronnie C helped us on our second visit also. We were glad she was there. She walked with us while we decided on what we wanted. She put the order together and everything went smoothly. Furniture was delivered today. One piece was delayed, but the rest of the furniture looks great. The delivery people were great also. Thank you!
After visiting multiple furniture stores and not finding what we were looking for, we decided to stop by this store and man do we wish we went here first! We were warmly greeted by Andre at the door that gave us direction to find exactly what we were looking for. This place has great selections, great prices and great financing. We'll definitely be recommending City Furniture to anyone looking for furniture from now on.

Absolute worst furniture company. Almost every piece of furniture was delivered damaged. They had to replace multiple items. They delivered part of a bed a took the hardware for the bed instead of leaving it. When the rest of the bed was delivered months later they tell me they cannot put it together because it’s missing hardware and now it will be another 3+ months. Customer service’s only solution is to change out entire bed selection with a different one of equal or lesser value even though we bought a matching set. Absolutely terrible, they won’t even send a repair technician to go and purchase the hardware to install. Instead they say they need to order an entire new set just to get the hardware. When you go to the store, the manager states they cannot do anything because they are just a showroom. Zero accountability. Worst buying experience ever and worst customer service.
During my trip to City/Ashley furniture I purchased a new Asheville style couch and Tempur Pedic mattress. I had the pleasure of Randi helping me, through this process she was very knowledge of all products, had a very professional but fun character. Definitely would give the experience 5 stars and would have to rate her expertise and customer service the same!
