City Hall

I can't speak to how smoothly anything runs here but I can say it is absolutely beautiful inside! I photographed an intimate wedding at Hartford City Hall on Saturday and it was amazing, if just a bit echo-y. There are so many great spots for photos and almost no one else there on weekends! It does require a permit for use beforehand, but it's definitely worth it and you can just grab your marriage license at the same time!

One star for ignoring my calls. Also one star cause my lawyer had to file FOIA to get information about my relocation due to my building on 47 Putnam being deemed uninhabitable for human occupancy. For some reason the City of Hartford is stonewalling me and my lawyer. Through their health and human services I was relocated to an apt in New Britain with the same slumlord. Now the landlord is trying to evict for missing June rent. Their attorney was in court today trying to say what happened prior is hearsay, never happened or has no relevance. The City of Hartford should be stepping in if they are going to say what happened in March with his building didn't happen. Be careful dealing with these people at Health and Human Services cause they will lie on you like my contact at the relocation, Ms.Perry when I called in June about issues I had raised prior but was ignored.

City Hall, Hartford, CT. There is a lot of beauty in Hartford!!! History and legacy, architecture and landscape, and creative citizens who have come together in prayer from here and there under the special patronage of Saint Joseph, Protector of the Church founded by Christ... +Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen

The architectural details of this wonderful institution are unconditionally impressive. Thank goodness Hartford preserved this building that has been used as a city hall for many, many decades.

Dept-tax I went to this department because I didn't receive my payment confirmation. I made 18 calls and no one answered. I left a message and today a certain Katiria called me back she was not professional, lack of ethics, with a ringing of violent and very sarcastic voice. The city doesn't need employees like her. And that they give you more job opportunities if there are only 4 people.

Excellent place to visit. The architecture is very classical. The mayor Luke Bronin is also very friendly and approachable. This city is lucky to have such a down to earth guy like Mr. Bronin!
