You can find essentially everything your gonna need. There are plenty of people available to help you. There are self serving stations that are easy to use. The only problem I had was that the bathrooms were being renovated, although I can appreciate keeping things up to date. There is also conveniently a car wash right behind the City Market.
Good stuff! Pop tarts hidden, but if I had a stash like that I’d keep it under wraps. Big Hosses rollin through on carts. Fruita in fruita. Got a donut and rang it up as a donut, they got photos So you don’t have to break the IQ bank at checkout. Find a vegetable if you want to live long, find some soda if you want to live happy. Carrot mustard sandwich for dinner! Good trails
Chesters is consistently inoperable. The deli closes mid afternoon. Not much of a meat market. No baskets. Few, if ever, options for sandwiches. Poor consistancy of layout throughout the store. Understaffed.
Their fried chicken and donuts are yummy and awesome perfect!!! Also their deli sandwich and meats and seafood are awesome! The staff is very helpful and nice. I love small town grocery store atmosphere. Also it nice to see my friends in there! Thank You for your help!
This place is an amazing store but, if your kid looks like someone who stole from there store they will kick your kid out, which is not cool, I would recommend to go to a Walmart instead of this horrible city market! And there food is way overpriced! People who go here will get food that is way overpriced and they kick people out for no reason, horrible management!
This is the first time at Fruita City Market that I and my service dog didn't feel welcome. A man who works there and I haven't seen before came up to me and began asking me about my disability and my small service dog. He flustered me. I offered to show the service dog card. My dog was licking on a tag on bottom shelf as I was paying attention to man. I felt like we were being reprimanded. He said he has never seen a dog do that. He told me not to let my dog do that. My dog doesn't usually do that. Anyway my experience today.
Fruita has and continues to really quickly. I think most people who live here KNOW we need another store or better yet, a bigger City Market. If you go on a weekend, go early! Very early! Go m-f, forget 4:30pm-7:00pm. You won't find a parking space. Employees and management are GREAT. it's not their fault. They agree we need a bigger CM....like the one across from the mall. Will it ever happen???
The bakery did an amazing job with my daughter's birthday cupcakes! The staff was friendly, timely, and accommodating. They did a beautiful ombre frosting that looked like ocean waves with sugar crystals on top for sea foam. I didn't know exactly what I wanted but the baker went above and beyond! The cupcakes were a hit at the party!
Great selection for how small the store is but I wish they could expand. I also think they should have more checkout lanes open… the ones with humans. Nice employees, fresh fruits and vegetables and very clean.
I’ve worked retail for 14 years and closed for all of it so I get being ready to go and tired right before closing but shouting how long / many minutes I have before I’ve even got through the front doors is rude especially after I realized the line to checkout was a longer wait time then what the employee made sure I heard before I had entered the store
