A line at customer service, while two associates stood helping one customer. 5 minutes passed. I asked the one who wasn't doing anything if she could do my return. She said, "no, you have to wait." I protested that she wasn't doing anything. She glanced at my item and said I can't return it. I said I'd like to speak to a manager. She huffed, returned my item and went back to standing by the other agent, despite having a line of customers waiting.
Parking is impossible, carts usually block the parking lot walkways, can't keep the basics in stock, stockers block the aisles and don't bother to try to get out of your way, bulk bins always empty and out of labels and pens. There are without fail ALWAYS some items on my list that they are out of. Last trip: Scouring powder, any brand, unsweetened almond milk, frozen edamame, bulk oats. They carry a rye bread that comes to them frozen, and for months they can't seem to order it and keep it on the shelf. I ask the bakery guy each time I am there and he always says "Thursday" but it's never there Thursday. When he does get it he puts out a month supply at once so the loaves get moldy and old instead of taking some out of the freezer as they sell. If there is a sale on something you have to get there right away because they never order enough to keep sale items in stock as you can see from the photos. This company is so digitally driven with the discount cards and coupons that you would think they would use the data to know what people buy and to do a better job of keeping it in stock. They also seem to continually discontinue brands I like, I guess to limit their competition. These problems have been ongoing and I have complained to management. Things don't improve.
Awful store. Employees grumpy, not helpful. Deli staff specially grumpy. They act like don’t want to be there. All staff need a crash course of customer service.
the deli department is an absolute mess I can’t even begin to count how many times you’re left standing there unattended while the employees stare at you and choose to ignore you. at this point just buy the cold chicken because they are not there to help you and it’s very noticeable.
Customer service hours are absurd & random. Was there at 9am today with a return & was told they open at 11am. Came back at 5:45 pm & was told they are closing before my turn after I’ve already been in line for 10 minutes.
Worst city market in the valley. Never use their online pickup. The employees don't know what tomato's look like and they refuse to do it properly like the other stores. Every time I've declined the substitutions they still give them to me and charge for the 'convience' of me having to throw out products I'm allergic to that I was forced to pay for. Inside the store it is disgusting, the deli area looks like it gets cleaned maybe once a week.
Easily the worst customer service ever. Any time you ask the deli gor anything, they make you feel like an inconvenience. So I called ahead to have some chicken ready at 5:20 and they had no record of my order. I hate this place. I'd rather spend 10 times more at whole food than ever come to this place again.
Get along with most employees, prices recently have increased dramatically which is bs. But its not local employees fault
This market has been the worst going on two years now. The shelves are consistently bare nothing to do with COVID, as it was this way last summer. I have repeatedly asked the manager why, but she doesn’t care and just says we can’t get help. I’ve tried just about every day of the week and it doesn’t matter I always leave without at least 6-8 items I went to get. Since there is no real alternative, except Whole Foods where I cannot afford to shop nor do they stock many items I buy, I am stuck. I will write corporate to see if they will step in to resolve this issue. Seems to me with so many people being out of work they should be able to hire.
Absolutely terrible place to work. Promise you the world then work but just work you with the promise of more money to get better performance. Never consistent hours if you use the bathroom at all your timed and questions what was taking so long. Don't bother staying they absolutely don't hire from with in for upper management even though that what they promote.
