Great outdoor market where the food and entertainment options are a plenty, the buildings are cute and the fun isn't limited to just the day. Evening bars and nightlife is active and welcoming. This market doesn't feel like it's built just fir tourists to come spend money, but like even the local community enjoys it as well. It was a nice change of pace from other markets. It could use easier to find bathrooms though!
Very good and quick food. We ordered a house salad w/grilled chicken and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Salad was excellent and chick cooked perfect. Pulled pork was very juicy to the point it didn't stay on the bun, but it tasted great.
I loved to walk down this street. Had many amazing shops and loved their decor. The buildings were amazing!!!
Very nice venue with restaurants and shops along a four block area. Being blocked off for traffic sure makes it nice to walk around with A dog!
Fun spot. Lots of bars, restaurants and neat little shops. Trolleys, pub crawl, carriage rides! A good stop on the other side of Bay St. The Prohibition Museum is here also with a gift shop. Worth your time to take it all in.
Savannah trip for you was real fun. The City Market is one of the buzzing places over the weekend empty weekdays. There are pizza joints, ice-cream shops, restaurants etc. The underground and rooftop bars are the highlight. You can hop around from one to another. Each has a unique vibe and ambience.
One of my favorite spots in Savannah- relaxing and time for shopping, eating, and enjoying company while you stroll through the many shops and eateries. Wear your walking shoes and experience a Savannah kind of day!
Great street scene. Music from bars. Smells from restaurants. Shops of all kinds. Art. Wonderful mix of sensations!
Great area to visit. Variety of local artisans, craftsmen and restaurants, as well as historic sites.
A wonderful place for food, drinks, shopping and people watching. Make sure to experience the pizza, cookies and other local fare.
