City of Carson - City Hall

I walk with my dog around the Carson City Hall area every week. It is a beautiful place to walk after sunset. One time, I walked to the City Hall and I found a small garden and It was almost sunset time. time and I discovered the beautiful place. It was a perfect view for taking photos. It was such a beautiful walkway and it would be a perfect place to take photos with just married couples. City Hall offered many services which included passport services, business license services, annual events, dog Vaccination services, and many more services. When I went to the passport office, the employees were so helpful & attentive to the customers. I liked Carson City Hall and they are doing a good job for Carson City. And their small garden will be a beautiful & romantic place to walk after the sunset.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the Carson Community Center and HR department. I recently took a test there, and the experience was a complete disaster. When I arrived at the community center, I saw that technicians were testing the fire alarms. The alarms were going off every few minutes, which made it impossible to focus on the test. After about 15 minutes, the proctor announced that the test would be canceled due to the noise from the fire alarms. I and several other test-takers expressed our willingness to continue the test despite the noise, but the proctor refused. As a result of the cancellation, I lost a day of work. I had taken time off from my job to take the test, and I was unable to reschedule the test because it was the only one that was offered. I am very disappointed with the way the test was handled. I believe that the city should have taken steps to ensure that the test could be conducted in a quiet environment and made the employees being less lazy

Just went today. Persons at front desk did not even let us in. 1 person sitting where you log in. 2nd person asks you what brings you in. 3rd person older black gent approaches and try to answer your question. Extremely lack customer service. Person 2 & 3 being paid to do useless job when there is another person in the information corner. You cannot reach the information desk as you are blocked by 3rd person. Also person 1 & 2 talk about you. Very unprofessional. Waste of taxpayers' money.

All I want is a solid 8 hours of sleep. Animal Control tells me "DOGS BARK"....My family and I have been sooo uncomfortable with this constant barking. They are rude in the Animal Control Department. My next step is to call the council member....I've heard of Carson City Hall being terrible and they are. I come home from doing a 16 hour shift and have to listen the dogs barking...it's crazy

I have been a Carson resident for several years and all I can say is City Hall can do wayyyyy better than the business they are putting out these days! Extremely lazy staff there. No one answers their phones or even feel the need to call you back when you leave a voicemail. The two departments that have really irked me are Public Works and Parks & Recreation!!!! Horrible, horrible service! the only reason why I didn't give any lower stars are simply because the young ladies who answer the phones at City Hall and go above and beyond their pay grades!!! THANK YOU! AND an extra thank you to the morning young lady, she's very kind and patient because I know I call a lot but they aren't never rude! Definitely a great look for this wack city!

Give out tickets too truckers for parking in front of a shipper/warehouse get a life and a real hobbie giving tickets too the people that supply your shelves

Ms Valerie is very nice and kind. She is patient and always does her best to help you for what you need and I always look for her for my business license things. Many years she has been there for me and others and I greatly appreciate her:

Not approachable staff, we went their with my husband to pay a permit but the guard which is a black adult man suddenly approach us like no respect, they need to educate all those staff, they are public servants they need to have a very nice attitude towards all the carson residents... And one more thing, they are checking all the residents single home family frontyard, someone knocked on our door just to tell us to mower the frontyard but the weedgrass still shorts but with he never checked with the other houses with tall grass.. we are paying our taxes and we we obey rukes and regulations of the city but that most of the staff are racist just because qe are asians. Need improvements!

Called the Dept of Health to make a complaint of a bakery. A young lady answered the phones and connected me and told me that they should be open. But repeated calls did not get an answer, even calling their direct number. People who work in the Dept of Health office should be there on time and take calls like they should. mailbox was full and no lice person to answer calls

The street sweeper didnt even pas and they still going around giving tickrts
