Tonight I had a cliche experience with police after being cited for impeding traffic. I attempted to defend my case mentioning I had enough space to turn left in front of a moving vehicle. He persisted I had near accident. Truth is this traffic stop resulted after much noise from the sound of the speeding, tailgating, rude drivers long pressed horn, forcing a police officer to do something .seemingly persuaded this cop stopped and checked me an innocent driver going home to a lone sick dog after spending a couple dollars on a meal. The officer believes strongly I made an illegal turn yet I don't, but the fact he was mild, respectful, patient, risking his life, professional, gets a good review from me, but there's always room for improvement, as no one is perfect , not me the driver or the cop. I still like to give 5 star someday. Just when they're more certain not assume we're guilty
As soon as you walk up to the front counter, you’re met with Officer Lacey who makes you feel safe and welcomed. He took the time to listen to my issues and was genuinely concerned about my situation I am currently dealing with. Thank you so much for the candor, compassion, and truly making me feel like you cared Officer Lacey. I would also like to state that I am extremely impressed with the records bureau in this police department. My encounter with Carrie was a pure delight to say the least. Thank you so much for being super nice, honest, actually listening to me, and your understanding. Might I add, she immediately took action and even double checked with her supervisor right before she went to find what I was requesting. Top notch job to Dearborn Police Station! You most definitely earned this 5 star review.
I was here for a fix it ticket to get sign off, female officer at the front desk was very friendly and polite she inspected my vehicle and signed off the ticket her self. She even gave me some helpful advice for it to not happen again.Thank you Dearborn police department for keeping us safe. Don't get mislead by the negative comments, you treat the officers like you would like to get treated, don't be rude to them.
Incredible service with amazing speed. They arrive within minutes of calling them, and conduct themselves as professionals without making judgements while still being tactful in assessing the situation to protect everyone involved. Dearborn is very fortunate to have a such a force serving them. Thank you!
They were very kind and gentle when they arrested me. The hand cuffs were warm and not too tight. The cruiser was surprisingly spacious and clean. The Dearborn Police are a MUST TRY! I would definitely get arrested by them again.

I have dealt with a number of officers from the Dearborn police department since - 9/3/09 - and truthfully - they are the best officers in the state of Michigan, perhaps the best within the USA!!
They pulled my daughter over for driving with no insurance, gave her a ticket she was on her way to work. Waited until she pulled off then 5 minutes later got pulled over again. Then instead of them letting her talk. They pulled guns or her and called 3 more cops cars. I feel dearborn police trafficking unit are bullies plus they did not read her any rights. Dearborn police already got a bad reputation .it needs to stop.
Interesting, I wrote a negative review containing facts about Dearborn PD, and the review was censored by Google. I used no derogatory language or revealed any names. I expressed only facts. My review is hidden from the public. I wonder how long this one will stay up.
Last summer my cousin got arrested and he told me they were very gentle when they handcuffed him and how the back seat was roomy, he went on to saying they were very professional. Looking forward to getting arrested by them for sure. I got pulled over and the generous cop followed me to Mcdonalds, i felt that he also wanted a mcchicken
