The goal of the City’s Facebook Page is to provide information of interest to the Encinitas community concerning the functions, activities, programs and goals of the city, and to facilitate the community’s ability to learn about and participate in city government. This serves as a moderated online information exchange about city news and events, and is not intended as a public forum. The City reserves the right to delete submissions if they are clearly off-topic; contain links that are outside the purpose or the theme of this site; promote specific services, products or political organizations; or infringe on copyrights, trademarks or the Facebook terms of use. Submissions that contain vulgar language; personal attacks of any kind; offensive comments or slurs that target any group or individual; or that promote any illegal activity will not be posted or will be removed.
The City of Encinitas monitors the activity on this site for the purpose of a public exchange of information. Posts that request a response will be answered by the appropriate City department or employee. The City will attempt to respond within a timely manner during City Hall business hours and in the context of other activities required to run the City.
