Folsom pd is literally the best! Folsom has some of the best officers I've ever met! 5 months ago in August I went through something and the officers that came to my place to help, they were literally so kind, empathetic and helpful. I am forever grateful for this pd. If you ever get the privilege to meet: Officer Austin Alverez you are in amazing hands. This officer is the most genuine and kind police officer ever! He goes out of his way for the community especially those with mental health issue's, it I not his job to continue to help after the initial call but he does, and that is what the community needs, is an officer who cares. I hope Folsom fp police chief sees this because you hired the best officer. Especially those who were there thar night too. Please never change who you are officer Alverez, you have help so much to not only me but this community. Folsom pd is the best!
Nothing better to do but hand out parking tickets. Its a stubby old man with a mustache that is literally the worst officer. On a sunday at the park this man is seen “doing his job” by checking park cars license plate. What a CLOWN
I was hit today on East Bidwell and the truck driver who hit me did not come to get one another's insurance or any contact information. I called the department and they seemed to side with the one at fault. The witness that pulled over to check on me even said that he drove off. I have not heard a word from the other driver and the department did not seem to care or offer any help. I am sad to say that I do not feel as though I can trust the department to truly proect and help citizens in need.
Folsom Police officer Lockhart handled a situation this evening in a completely unprofessional manner. My wife is a 100% disabled Marine veteran and wanted to park her car at the Circle K parking lot. The manager told her should could not park there and was going to tow her. The manager called the police on us. Officer Lockhart answered the call. When my wife tried to explain to the officer that laws surrounding the American Disabled Act allow disabled people to park in commercial areas, he stated that he didn't "know the law" but that it seemed that we were trying to pull a "huck and shuck" on a business owner, and were trying to take advantage of the system. I wasn't expecting an officer to disrespect my wife's right as a disabled person especially a disabled veteran. I was expecting the officer to uphold the law and not disparage the needs of a disabled person. Officer Lockhart obviously needs some sensitivity training. I also want to thank officer Lockart for ruining 4th of July of a disabled veteran and an active duty Marine Major infantry officer and our family.
Folsom police is always prompt and courteous. Can always count on them. Thanks for making Folsom a great place to live in.
Thank you to the Officers of the Folsom City PD who kept the runners and walkers safe for the 4th Annual Love My Mom 5K. You are appreciated!!!

Thanks u for everything , may God take care of them in their work!
Whole department from dispatch to officers are polite, knowledgeable, understanding.
Calling is a waste of time. Never get help.
