Some Highlights of the City of Glencoe include: Oak Leaf Park, Glencoe Aquatic Center, and the Glencoe City Center.
OAK LEAF PARK is the flagship park in the City of Glencoe municipal park system. The park includes the Glencoe Aquatic Center, campground, softball fields, a disc golf course, a large playground, fishing pond and wildlife refuge. For your family picnics, reunions and other event needs, the park has five shelters available to rent. The park is also home to Vollmer Field, home of the Glencoe Brewers and two-time site of the MN State Amateur Baseball Tournament.
GLENCOE AQUATIC CENTER is open June through August, the Glencoe Aquatic Center features a 150 foot flume slide, drop slides, children’s frog slide, diving board, zero entrance pool, umbrella fountains, shaded observation areas and a concession area. Located in Glencoe’s flagship park, Oak Leaf Park, this state of the art facility is one of the region’s top outdoor aquatic parks.
THE GLENCOE CITY CENTER is located at 1107 11th Street East, Glencoe, Minnesota. The Glencoe City Center, which is operated by the City of Glencoe, is on the National Register of Historic Places. The facility is home to a state of the art event center, City of Glencoe offices, Glencoe Public Library, Common Cup Ministries, and numerous other community entities.
