Named after the Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier, this small and friendly town is located in the Gem state of Idaho on State Highway 19, five miles to the East of US-95 and the City of Wilder, and five miles to the West of Interstate 84 and the City of Caldwell. The community offers a welcoming presence from the Greenleaf Friends Church, the private K-12 Greenleaf Friends Academy founded in 1909, and the local home-style Greenleaf Cafe. Our region is known for its agriculture and agricultural beauty, including row crops, fruit-bearing orchards, hops, and a variety of seed crops. Greenleaf is a quiet community conducive to a positive family atmosphere.
