I was working on a non traffic street with very low traffic movement, no signs of what direction you have to park your vehicle. I don’t live in Houston so I don’t know their parking rules and they don’t have any type of signs to Inform you about them. I am driving a dump truck with a trailer and Bobcat on it and an extra truck for our project and the space is minimum. I parked my dump truck on the wrong direction cause I didn’t know about this rule. We’re working on a 115 degree temp in the back yard and when we’re ready to go home, I find this parking ticket on my dump truck windshield. I didn’t even see the officer that left it. He could’ve told me or one of my guys that the truck was parked on the wrong direction. We we’re going back n forth from front yard to back yard and this officer didn’t even bother to look towards the side/back of the house to warn us about it. He just places the ticket on the windshield. I honestly find this very unprofessional and uncourteous with the fact that he/she knows that we’re hard working people by simply looking at the work site. Shame on these officers that should have a little more common sense and concentrate their efforts more on people that truly violate the law and city rules.
They force to pay a ticket not belong to me, where is the photo or video showing that I parked in the Airport. Even they don’t answer to the emails , and they put a comment here to contact us !!
Got a citation for being parked at the airport and I don’t even go to the airport forced to pay the citation anyway even though it wasn’t me
The website is a total mess. Just go to see them, because the people there are total sweethearts. I was trying to get a form to allow me to drop off a container / pod for moving out of my home. I figured out it was a Meter Bagging Permit form. I dropped it off in-person to make sure that I did it right... they helped me figure out what the block number meant and they helped me fix my error with the meter ID. Teresa explained that I might need another permit and that she'd ask that guy when he comes into the office the next day. She gave me his and her contact information. The next day, she followed up with him and then called me with the good news she legitimately was running this down for me, thank goodness for her. She arranged for someone Regelio to come check out exactly where the thing would go. Regelio scouted out the area top-notch preparation. He was super sweet, and helped me visualize what they needed so we were on the same page. He was ready to put the thing down the same day, a whole week in advance! I didn't expect him to move so quickly, but he seemed excited for it. The level of passion and speed demonstrated by Teresa and Regelio was highly unexpected. So, basically, this whole process could've been a gigantic challenge for me, and yet they made it super easy by translating their needs into requests that I understand and by doing so much legwork without me begging for help! They were all so fantastic. I'm so impressed. 10/10 would recommend working with them again.
This place has always been professional and courteous when I stop by. I haven't had any issues and my parking passes are usually done within 10 minutes.
First time ever visiting the city, I got a parking ticket for being too close to a hydrant. It was easily accessible, but the cop must get comission on parking tickets becuase it wasn't 5 minutes after I left my car that a ticket was placed on it. Maybe if there was adequate parking, it wouldn't be an issue. If that was the case, revenue would probably be much lower. If a city employee wants to respond to this... what does the millions of dollars in parking tickets each year go to? Can it please go toward making it more obvious where it is ok to park and not to park? The sad truth is that it probably feeds a pension fund. I tried explaining my situation and misunderstanding in an appeal, but they apparently needed 105 dollars of my college money.
I received a letter regarding one citation and a few weeks another citation parking in handicap zone. On the date and time of one citation, I was at work and have a print out from my job. On the other citation, I'm not up that early on the weekend. I called the grocery store to inquire of security cameras and was put on hold for 30 minutes.
Place is a scam you're better off paying online and getting your code to remove the boot yourself we paid in person didn't get a code instead we had the person tell us we damaged the boot and it couldn't be removed and we had to pay another $200 or get towed what a waste once the $200 was paid the boot could be removed plus everyone I dealt with was rude and miserable
I applied for a parking permit via email and it was ready for pickup the next day. I really appreciated Roselin's courtesy notification via both email and phone call. Great service!
People are not helpful. Received a parking ticket but whoever wrote it, wrote the month for 7 months before it actually happened. It read 05/06/19 instead of 12/06/19. Now I have to pay triple the amount. The ticket was stamped during the correct month 12/12/19 but they say it was issued on 05/06/19 and that the office received the citation for data entry on 12/12/19. So it takes the office 7 months to put a citation into the system? If that's the case, there needs to be a change in the data entry process or something.
