While there were several town watches and marshals prior to 1867, the first formal continuous Police Force was established in 1867.

All lawful records requests for information contained on a social media site shall be directed to the supervisor of the Information Systems Department and will be fulfilled by any employee whose assistance is necessitated.
All official postings on this site will be preserved, to the extent possible and allowable in each platform, in accordance with any applicable retention policy.
