The mission of the department is simple:
Commit to a standard of excellence, both in quality and quantity of police services offered to the community. Deterrence of crime, investigation of crimes committed, prosecution of violators, and actively pursues the cooperation of every resident in an effort to create a police/community partnership sensitive to the multitude of cultures that make up the human fabric of our community. The badge is a symbol of public trust, and we wear ours with great pride. With this in mind, we realize it is incumbent upon each of us to adhere to a higher ethical standard to maintain the confidence of our community.
