The focus of the Community Development Department is to provide residents and businesses with appropriate services to encourage economic growth and development in Pinellas Park and improve the quality of life.

I am a roofing contractor and deal with many municipalities in Pinellas County and I have to say that Pinellas Park is the best to work with by far. Their inspectors are knowledgeable and are always willing to help. The office staff is also helpful and fast. Thank you to them!
Rented a warehouse in Pinellas Park for my business and just got the invoice for business license from the Building development division for $500 which seem a bit on the high side for a small business. I called to find out why is it so high and what is the breakdown - spoke to Lisa Clayton who was just repeating the same 3 factors like a robot. Only after I expressed my displeasure with the service did she apologize and explained it to me. Overall not a favorable experience.
Thank you so very much Mrs. Melissa and Mrs. Rebecca as well as Mr. Chuck for all the help and effort that I received, which allowed me to accomplish my project. Excellent support from beginning to end. Truly appreciated!
Called once today was hung up on, called again and have been on hold 95 minutes.
