Torrance is located halfway between Los Angeles and Orange Counties and bound by the Pacific Ocean on the west. Its neighboring cities include Gardena, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills and Carson. It is considered to be the heart of the South Bay area.
