City of Uvalde Memorial Park

Love it they have ducks turtles and more recently a colony of nutrias. Playground: Nice clean kids seems to have a lot of fun Dog-friendliness: People are always walking there dogs nothing wrong it at all Picnic area: Decent we have eaten on the tables a few times nothing to complain about

Nice place for a walk. Cool animals to look at.

A very moving experience. Extremely sad but necessary to pay respects and acknowledge this senseless tragedy. May they all rest in heavenly peace.

Some of the trees have a huge base. Wide. Your arms don't go around the whole tree. The bark on the trees are so thick because they're so old. Beautiful

I enjoyed my trip here, although it was very hot. The park was well kept and clean. I visited the VETERANS memorial and took a picture. Little town, with BIG HEROS..... Thank God for our MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN who protect our freedoms and liberties. Enjoyed the small town with the big feel, it was like getting a hug from grandma. Will be back

What an impressive disc golf course! I travel for work and always bring my discs just incase the place I stay has a disc golf course and wow I have to say I was blown away by what Uvalde has to offer. Very clean and taken care of with some really interesting chain set ups that make you pick shot selection wisely. I hear they may even add more chains to the course!

Clean, pretty, mature trees, PLUS a skateboard park... pretty nice park... bathrooms were closed cos of Covid.

This place is pleasant ! Our kids enjoyed this park very much !

My grandchildren really enjoy coming to the park. There isn't many places to take small children in uvalde so this is nice. I do have to be honest sometimes the older kids take over the playgrounds and I worry about the the little ones. So we will just buy bread and go feed the ducks which has been so much fun for them and they have really enjoyed walking with me. I really enjoy and needed to start exercising again and the park gives me some motivation to do that as I see people of all ages doing so. It's definitely a nice place just keep an eye out for those older kids that don't care if they run and knock down a smaller kid.

It's a wonderful place to relax under the shade and to enjoy the feathered friends. The walking trail is not intimidating and easily traversed. The trees are such a beautiful blessing. It would be nice to have more strategically placed trash recepticals. The amount of trash left from visitors feeding the waterfowl was embarrassing for such a nice park.
