Front desk gals are helpful and polite. I was so uncomfortable they offered to help me "check in". Scribe took my temperature without a plastic guard. When I realized what she did and questioned her she lied and said it fell on the floor. Left a urine sample and was called three hours later to return as first sample contaminated - they called at 8:51 PM & they close at 9:00 PM. This was after going for an ultrasound and waiting hours for City MD to call in prescription with repeated calls. Seeing my frustration and with the pharmacy closing the pharmacist stepped in to assist getting the prescription. Back to City MD and left 2nd urine sample. Three days later tests results arrived stating tests were inconclusive due to contaminated sample. City MD sent in first sample and never sent the second sample. This office used to be top notch - not so anymore.
Several weeks ago I came in bc my daughter couldn’t stop coughing, a loud barking cough. They put us in a room and we waited for over an hour, my daughter frustrated and coughing the entire time. I finally flagged down a nurse and she seemed completely shocked that we were in there. Clearly they’d forgotten about us. A few nights ago I brought her in for an earache she’d had for a week. I figured it must be an ear infection. Paid another $60 and the Dr looked in her ear and said no; no infection. He said her ear was congested. Took her to the pediatrician the next day spending another copay to find out it WAS an infection and that there was no congestion. I definitely won’t be coming to CityMD again.
The employees were very kind and attentive I didn't have to wait long to be seen. The Dr. Talked to me and explained the results of the test I had done. I wasn't rushed out, they were thorough, and told me how to proceed to get my health issues taken care of.
This urgent care is wonderful. The staff goes above and beyond. Dr. McBrien was amazing. The wait was short and Mir, the manager helped me with the self check in since I was on crutches. He also came out to the car to bring me a disk.of my x-rays when I forgot them. I saw the doctor twice and got a full panel if x-rays within an hour. I would highly recommend this urgent care if you're in need.
Exam went quickly, and I was treated professionally. I went to a Northwell facility first closer to home, but was told it would b a 3 hr wait to get xray even tho there were only 3 ppl in waiting room. Nasty receptionist said others were in their cars. Left there and went to City MD. friendly staff.
It’s just upsetting that there isn’t a better and more effective waiting system. It would be great if there could be someone taking down phone numbers or a way to hold Our place in line if we can’t wait inside which I completely understand but this Line hasn’t moved in over 30 minutes. If our names are taken down we can wait in our car or near by. Everyone is sick and even if they aren’t sick they will get sick waiting in this cold weather. There should be a smoother and more professional system
Super quick and easy visit. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor was great. Being sick, I didn’t want to wait around, I just wanted to go home. My whole visit was about 30 mins. It wasn’t rushed and it wasn’t slow & They were thorough! I have highly recommended to my friends and family because everytime I’ve gone I’ve had no complaints.
Hassle free walkin in ever . Self checkin at the kiosk . 5-10 min wait time to be in exam room and then seen by a doctor . Very friendly MA and Doctor. However, terrible after care and patient service center . Had to call them a day after my visit for the after visit summary , was told it shall be emailed but received nothing!! Emailed two days later , nothing. Then called the same afternoon was told it’ll take 24 hours to get a doctor’s note and the summary , that was suppose to be available on the summit health patient portal , but wasn’t there! It’s almost night now& I still haven’t got anything!!!!!!
I’ve always had great experiences here. In my personal opinion it’s one of the best urgent cares around. Everyone that works there is so friendly. I’ve been to this location at-least five times and I was always treated promptly.
The three ladies that were behind the counter when you first walk in, were very sweet. Nick, who took me to one of the patient’s rooms, and Jose, who I believe is a physician’s assistant, and came in to see me, were both very nice, and very friendly.
