Great location. We watched a DSP concert here. We parked on 3rd streetfree street parking and walked about 10 minutes. The sound system was badloud and noisy in the concert and I doubt that is because of the place.
Fantastic location; I had a great time. It was my first time attending a performace like this. It was Eric Chou, a well known Chinese artist whose songs my wife had been pleading with me to listen to. I am glad I made to choice to get a ticket to his concert. The atmosphere was excellent, lighting was fantastic and it was so much fun. It's easy to find parking too since there was a parking lot close-by, although there was a slight queue up because of a special event.
Went to watch New Japan Pro Wrestling and couldn’t have been happier. This was my second visit to the Civic. The first time I was seated on the floor and loved my seats. This time I was seated in the balcony. The seats were second to the last row and offered an amazing view. The Civic is large enough to host larger than life events while remaining intimate. Even from our seats, we could hear the wrestlers. Despite being packed, it was never too warm. The bathrooms were quite large for that size facility and were very clean. The staff was very nice and responsive as well. The only negatives were the price for parking in the area and the price of beer, but unfortunately, that’s par for the course everywhere these days.
Came here for a concert on 9/01/23, we had a really positive experience the restrooms were really clean and we didn’t have to wait in long lines. Everything was going really well up until the end of the night. We purchased our tickets through ticket master and one of them included meet and greet. When I approached one of the staff members to ask about the M&G she mocked me and she continued to laugh and make a joke out of it to her co-worker, and said it was canceled. This was extremely agitating to me because I approached her in an extremely respectful manner and gave her no reason to be so rude. We also asked to use the restroom and where told that they were closed for the night.. we were over an hour away from home and after having paid over $1,000 we weren’t aloud to use the restrooms?? Will definitely not be going back there ever again thanks to the lack of good customer service on the ONE employee. Please do better and if you aren’t happy with your job don’t take your frustrations on the customers who PAID to be there.
So awesome when you think of the history of the place. It’s been going since the 40’s and have had every nostalgic performer. There isn’t a bad seat in the house even on the balcony your gonna have a great view it isn’t the biggest arena. I work there and I know they go above and beyond for everyone that comes from dance performances, comedians, Mexican dances, rock stars, and anything else even guest speakers like Tyler Henry just to name a few. Have plenty of bars and parking is close by.
What a cool location. Easy to exit onto the street, parking close by and relatively accessible and convenient. Staff are super friendly and personable. Great acoustics and ambience.
Good theater, the directions to different seating areas can be a bit confusing but staff was helpful and the show was awesome. The public parking nearby was the best option for flat rate $10, other paid parking can easily go to 20-40 bucks…
Watched piano guys, dream theater at this place. Small but classic interiors. A little old though. Downside, cannot take bottle water inside and had to purchase from their store.
The venue's interior is eye catching, but the audio is consistently 'meh'. Food concessions have some surprising options that are not too shabby.
Seats were nice, place was very well ventilated and staff was good. Restrooms were clean but on the upper level. Not sure if this was this show or the centers setup but the sound system was very poor, there is no noise absorption which did not help either. This is right at the train station, for parking there are hotel parking garages open for paid parking.
