What a wonderful jewel in Kernersville. While taking a walk toward 4ty of July Park we saw this park & stopped by. Never made it to the other! Great place to exercise outside with state of the art equipment. Playground, basketball, walking track, tennis/ pickle ball court, etc. & clean restroom !! Playground: Quaint playground area. Restrooms: Clean & roomy unisex Dog-friendliness: Poop bags available plenty of trash cans. Picnic area: Covered picnic table.
Small park but a very nice spot just off Main Street. I like it for the many PokeStops! But it seems like a nice family spot overall, very clean with some walking paths.
Brand new re-done park in Kernersville. Best pickleball courts in the city. New basketball court, 1/2 mile walking path around softball field as well
Quiet neighborhood park. Sometimes when it has rained, I let my child play in the sand and water at the sand volleyball.
Nice playground, but tennis courts are closed due to poor condition and sand volleyball court is also in poor condition. There is a baseball field. The park is right next to a fire house and water tower.
Very clean and not really crowded. But there isn't much to do for very young children because the play area has a lot of sides open where smaller children can fall off. The park is best for ages 6 and up I would say.
We had my Family Reunion at Civitan Park on Saturday, it is a fantastic place to hold a gathering. We rented the shelter, had several picnic tables, lots of shade trees, tennis court, a place to play basketball, soccer or volleyball. We had taken a few games, didn't need them. Picture below is from our reunion.
Nice place. Good atmosphere Restrooms: Clean restrooms
Highly underused park right behind the Engine 51 Firestation. There is a large grassy area for free play, a playground set and a picnic shelter. Probably best in the cooler months, as it offers no shade. Still, check it out.
Clean little park. Restrooms are locked until March. Walked to the firehouse so my grandson could see the firetruck and the firemen gave him a hat.
