The CCC District covers all of Clackamas County except Lake Oswego, Sandy, Damascus and Boring school districts.
Programs
Career Technical: CCC offers 55 less-than-one year, career pathway, and one-year Certificate of Completions, and 30 two-year Associate of Science Degrees; in addition to a General Studies Degree. In 2008-09, more than 5,400 students self-identified into career technical programs. Thirty-eight percent of our graduating students graduated with a career technical degree and/or certificate.
College Transfer: CCC offers the two-year Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree, completion of which guarantees junior standing upon admission to any OSSHE college or university. Transfer students can choose from more than 70 major areas of study. In 2008-09, 7,271 students self-identified as participating in a college transfer program. 28% of our 2007-08 graduating class graduated with a transfer degree. An estimated 29% of college transfer students transferred to a four-year college or university within a year of graduation.
Literacy/Basic Skills: CCC offers individualized instruction in basic academic and study skills, including Adult High School Diploma, GED, ESL, Alternative Schools, Life & Career Options and Young Parent Opportunity Program. In 2008-09 6,073 students participated in literacy/basic skills programs. Students who enrolled in the high school diploma programs and graduated made up 12% of our graduating class.
Community Education: CCC offers credit and non-credit personal interest and enrichment courses through district community schools at more than 100 locations. In 2008-09, there were an estimated 9,318 students enrolled in both credit and non-credit personal interest and enrichment courses.
Business Training: CCC offers contracted employee training through the Customized Training & Development Services (CTDS) program and assistance to small businesses through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC). In 2008-09, CTDS/SBDC served 636 businesses.
