I like this park... Ample parking spaces most of the time I'm sure it can get busy at certain times, just that I've never experienced; Water access is an easy short distance walk from the parking lot; Space to sit is usually enough for multiple groups to recreate comfortably without being directly on top of each other although this does depend on water levels and the people recreating both in number and behavior. Park is mostly clean some random litter like plastic drink cups or cigarette butts are discarded inappropriately on the ground instead of taken with them when leaving, but not excessive and is gone when coming back the next afternoon Picnic area: Picnic tables seem to be fewer in number than the grassy area would allow, but are located with ample space around them for larger parties and in spots sunny and shady
Free Entrance! There are boat launch! People fish here! There is a playground for kids with public restrooms and a lot of shade. Great place for picnic. Playground: There is a playground, but there is not much feature of the playground. Restrooms: There are restrooms but I never did use it so I can't tell you if it's clean or dirty in there. Dog-friendliness: I see a people walk there dog there chain up. Picnic area: There are party tables with a lot of shade to enjoy a picnic.
Agate hunting - some good carnelians as you can see in the pics. They're not very obvious at first, but if you keep looking they'll be waiting for ya : Restrooms: Yep
Great place to beat the heat in Oregon city area. Great river. Places with shade. All around good time.
Large park bordered by two rivers. Easy parking and river access. Large grass area. A great feature is the endless surfing wave. Kind of loud being so close to overpass.
It’s on a few lists of good paddleboarding spots but I wouldn’t recommend it for that if you’re going for anything remotely leisurely. The current is very strong maybe less so later in the season and most of the water is shallow and super rocky. It seems like a fine park for events/cookouts etc.
Great park. Horse shoes, walking paths and beautiful landscape. A staple in the community. Fishing, as well as camping for RV. A skatepark that's a bit outdated but still fun as well. Playground: Swings only Restrooms: Open in summer Dog-friendliness: All dogs are loved here Picnic area: Clean table section, covered and uncovered available
Great park to walk around. Great view of the river. Boat ramp closed.
From the boat launch down the walking trail, loops a half mile easy stroll along the river where the Clackamas and Willamette meet. Busy with salmon fishermen and families picnicking, this well maintained park feels safe and inviting for my dogs and I. Playground: Small clean play area right in the heart of the dayuse area. Dog-friendliness: Lots of people walking their dogs on the path plus several playing ball on the grass and even one tossing a ball into the river to retrieve. Picnic area: Sheltered picnic area plus plenty of grassy space to lay a blanket down.
The park is beautiful and the river is great. The campground is good but has no full hook up, 30 amp plugs doesn’t work most of the time. Infrastructure is old and need improvement. The price is not cheap.
