Claddagh Restaurant and Pub - Asheville, NC

Great Irish pub right in the middle of downtown Asheville. There’s a saying that goes “no matter where you go, there’s always an Irish pub around the corner” and this was the place for us group of friends. Great place for a quick drink, some dartboard and snacks. Won a couple stuffed animals here from the claw machine. Nice atmosphere and nice staff. A great place all around for a good Irish feel, with a great bar area and plenty of seating.

Great spot for a drink downtown. Plenty of drafts to choose from. I tried the Noda cheerwine, it was pretty good. I enjoyed a jack the ripper, wild style. Started with some potato skins, both were good.Food: 4/5

We just wanted a place to grab a quick drink before the show the other night.. best choice we ever made.. the food delicious, the bartender Sam was not only super friendly and prompt despite being slammed but in his ultra-friendly way he also gave us recommendations and directions when we asked.. to top it off they stopped a creep outside from harassing some other people when they were leaving.. we ended up staying and missing half the show! We loved the time there, libations, food and staff! Would highly recommend! We will definitely make this our only stop when we come into town.

Great staff! Bartender friendly, cook had a long shift but came back from break. Restaurant charges 2.5% fee for using credit/debit cards. Food was good, but not great. Service was great. Atmosphere was generic sports pub.Food: 4/5

I came here with a group of six guys looking for good food and good drinks. We were not disappointed. The selection of Whiskey was a little more limited than I expected but covered a breadth of tastes. Our dinner choices included corned beef and hash needed a bit of salt, Guinness stew perfect, and bangers and mash banging. Everything was served beautifully and with generous portions. Service was friendly though it tended to be a tad slow despite a light crowd.

Got the Reuben and fries for a very late night dinner and they were outstanding. Staff was very friendly and attentive. 5 stars! Would be glad to come back here again!Food: 5/5

The food is great, the drinks were exceptionally well made. Prices are exceptionally reasonable, especially given the portions. It wasn't overly busy when we got there, wait times were nonexistent. The music was a good volume allowing for conversation without yelling. I can't recommend this place enough.Food: 5/5

So fun. Unique eats like turkey and roast beef egg rolls with sauerkraut and one of the best Club sandwiches ever. My wife has known me 14 years, and in that time I have never sent food back. Not sure if I have ever sent food back? We ordered potato skins and bangers and mash, everything was overcooked and we were informed the cook was leaving and wouldn't be back for 45 minutes. Charlotte was very sweet about the whole thing, she is the only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1, and we understand there are challenges sometimes, at least the beer was good!

I always judge an Irish place by their fish and chips, and these guys have acquitted themselves very well. Everything was excellent, and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Asheville
