AN OVERVIEW
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
The Office of Career Development provides comprehensive resources and services to assist students develop career plans. Upon graduation, students have had exposure to programs and resources necessary for them to join the workforce and/or attend graduate or professional school.
Students are engaged from their freshman year to graduation by receiving career planning workshops, experiential education (internship and co-op) opportunities, career and graduate school fairs, on-campus recruiting programs, graduate and professional school recruitment events, and educational networking forums with alumni.
SERVICE LEARNING AND COMMUNITY SERVICE
The program for Service Learning and Community Service has been implemented through the Office of Career Development to aid in enhancing community, provide real-world engagement, and combine academic coursework with participation in organized community service that addresses identified community needs. Upon completing their undergraduate program, students have completed more than 80 hours of service.
