Claiborne County Health Department

This place treating people based on their race. I called them 4 times to schedule and appointment for my daughter insurance she has to get her 6 months vaccine and she doesn’t have insurance because I am unemployed but they didn’t call me back. I am wondering how many times I have to call you to give me an appointment. I don’t recommend you to there it will be a waste of your time. If I can give you minus star I would.

I called them 4 times to enroll my daughter on health insurance but miss Diana is busy can’t give me a call back or maybe I have to be a Mexican so she would call me. So this place is treating people based on their race. I don’t recommend it for anybody because there is some racism here.

One start is too much for you. I called you to make an appointment to enroll on health insurance with my baby but you never called me back I called several times. One star is too much for you. The people that work there are not qualified to do that job I don’t how they got that job.

Very helpful and gave me a lot of information to use when I needed WIC. I also got my birth control from them after I had my baby and it's working great. If you're nice to them they're nice to you. My only complaint is that one of the ladies working there tried getting me to breastfeed my baby without my cover, even after I made it very clear that I wasn't comfortable with that There's nothing wrong with not using a cover but for me personally that's what makes me comfortable. But it was just the one time so it's not a huge deal.

The staff are friendly enough. Pap smears and screenings seem good. However, I had a Covid test done a month ago. They did a throat swab, which isn't as accurate. I have never received my test results. I quarantined 14 days and I tried to reach these people five times, through phone calls and their website thing. Escalated my ticket twice. Nothing. As far as I'm concerned they are in on suppressing numbers and never tested me. I went to another county and got retested. Negative. I no longer trust this department.

Went and got my COVID Vaccination. Was courteous and didn't have to wait long. They explained the shot and side effects well.

Literally saved my son's life!! may be small and look different but they were there when he needed help and I will always be thankful! THANK YOU TO ALL who work there!!

The nurses and staff are wonderful here. I highly recommend this health department. They are all GREAT!
