Description

Founded in 1999, Clairday Electric, Inc. is a family owned and operated company based out of Searcy, Arkansas. Our workforce has many years of experience in all aspects of the electrical field, both in service and construction. The training and experience our employees have been provided has helped to create a safe, efficient and conscientious workforce that fits seamlessly into your home or place of business.

We offer a wide range of services in the industrial, commercial, and residential fields. Our electricians are state licensed and our apprentices are enrolled and licensed in the state apprenticeship program. We do not contract employees. Everyone who works for Clairday Electric, Inc. is a full time employee, is insured and has been certified in our health, safety and environmental program.

Our base of operations is the White County, Arkansas area; however, our range of travel for work is statewide and beyond, including being licensed to work in Oklahoma. For residential service, we serve all locations within a 50 mile radius of Searcy. For industrial and commercial work we will cover wherever you need us.

We offer industrial construction and service, in both power and controls. We are a 24/7/365 operation, with call out and emergency services for our customers. We can do scheduled outage and shutdown work, emergency and weekend call outs, scheduled or call out work during normal hours, or any other situation. Putting it quite simply, we will be there when you need us regardless of when that is, to keep your operation moving and producing. We offer service in the following industries and locations:

We offer both service and new construction services for commercial applications. Our professional and courteous staff will not interfere with your business when we are needed during working hours, and if needed, we are available after hours to meet your needs, so your operation can flow as normal during the day. Whether it’s a store, restaurant, bank, school, or any place of business, we can take care of your needs.

We offer service for residential homes and apartment complexes. We do not offer, at this time, after hours residential call out services. We will make every effort to be at your location within 48 hours of taking your call. All residential calls must be paid for as services are rendered, unless prior arrangements are made. Charges begin from the time we leave the shop and cover travel time to get back, unless the call out is within Searcy, AR city limits. Emergency calls will be taken care of as soon as possible, but we cannot guarantee less than 48 hour turn around. Our technicians are skilled troubleshooters, and professionals in all aspects of the work. Our men are trustworthy, the kind of people you don’t mind turning the keys of your home, over to. We will be there when we say will, and will not make you wait for weeks to get your problem taken care of. Specialty Services: Variable Speed Drives

If you need a VFD, for your process, look no further than us. We are an Eaton certified and trained installer, commissioner, and service center. We also sell and install all other brands of drives, at customer request. From installation to programming and troubleshooting a problem, we can take care of it all. With any Eaton drive that we sell and commission, the life of the warranty is doubled to 2 full years from date of commission, since we are a certified start up center. This could save hundreds or even thousands in repair or replacement of a drive that normally would lose warranty after one year. We can assist in finding the right drive for your application and needs, whether you are in need of precise motor control and speed, or needing a source of three phase power for your motor.

Specialty Services: Power Factor Correction

Are penalties, due to poor power factor, costing you to operate your facility? This can be corrected, with the installation of a power factor correction capacitor. Working with your electrical utility provider, we size and install the capacitor bank that’s right for your application and usage. In many cases, the complete install is paid for within two years from the date of install, although we make no guarantee of turn around time. Having a capacitor bank installed, can save thousands per month in utility provider penalties.

Specialty Services: Motors and Controls

Whether its new install or troubleshooting your existing equipment, we can handle all motor and control issues. From fractional horsepower all the way up to 500 horsepower industrial motors, we can provide, install, or troubleshoot any of them and their control systems. We install and troubleshoot all types of motor controls and starting methods.

Specialty Services: Generators

If you need back up, emergency, prime, or even temporary power, call us for your generator needs. We offer turn key installation of all generator brands. Whether you need a small natural gas unit for your home or business, or a large industrial unit for your plant or natural gas facility, we can take care of you. We do installations of both diesel and natural gas units. We offer maintenance packages for all generators we install, as well as existing units, including maintenance for emissions certified engines. If you need a temporary generator for short time rentals, we have up to a 250 kw, 480 volt unit, available for rental. We set up, install, and take down our generator, when you need it. We also can take care of generator load banking, to make sure your generator is at peak performance when you need it.

Infrared Thermography

In need of someone for doing infrared surveys or troubleshooting, of your plant, business, or home’s, electrical or mechanical systems? Switchgear, breakers, motors, bearings, transformers, belts, piping, even walls and roofs, can be surveyed with infrared technology. Using our Fluke Ti32, thermal imaging camera, we can take infrared photos, troubleshoot, and create reports with the information we gather. We are Snell Group trained in Infrared Thermography, and currently carry a level 1 certification. We can generate full reports of our findings, showing both live image and infrared image, side by side, along with full descriptions. These reports are custom tailored to each location and customers’ needs. No project is too big or small. Whether its one picture needed to troubleshoot one piece of equipment, or an entire facility needs its electrical system surveyed, we can take care of you. Contact us for quotes and information.

Specialty Services: Natural Gas Industry

We are central Arkansas’ leader in the natural gas field. We specialize in natural gas compressor facilities and hazardous locations wiring. Our safety and performance record speaks for itself. We work with many of the gathering and drilling companies doing work in the state, and are licensed to do work in Oklahoma as well. We offer 24 hour assistance to our customers, and will answer the phones every time we are needed. You won’t need to tell our men to use their PPE, fill out their JSA’s, or to reverse park out of the way. We have a great deal of experience in this industry, and follow all safety precautions. Our wiring on your site will be worry and trouble free, and done to NEC standards, for the area classification you fall into.
