The store manager, Michelle, was very nice. She and the other girl working did great when my daughter got her ears pierced.
Disappointed that 3/4 times I’ve tried to go here mid-day during store hours, there has been a sign “be back shortly”, and I’ve actually waited 25 min and no one ever came one of those times. And then tonight when someones were actually there, we were alerted upon arrival “we close in 12 minutes”, and then the 3 staff members continued to chatter about how people shouldn’t get offended when they come in at closing. Mind you, it’s 640 something on a Friday night. Not like it’s 9 or 10. I understand stores closing early with covid, no problem. And actually I had called to check before driving across town due to my previous experiences with there being a sign on the door each time, so I already knew they were about to close, and I worked retail for years so I was going to be in & out to be considerate which I was- in and OUT, but I will not be shopping at this location anymore. Very rude. On a positive ending- I did have my 4 yo daughters ears pierced back in Dec 2020 after waiting for 20 min on someone to get there, and the young lady who did them was great. I’m updating. So a year later I was in the area and tried again after I said I wouldn’t ha. They must have hired a new team because it was a 180. The ladies were so helpful. One particularly. But yes!! I am so proud of Claire’s Port Orange. They even host birthday parties in the back and she offered to show us. We had to leave abruptly, but it was so hospitable and I’m looking forward to going back.
Had my daughter’s ears pierced there and the lady was super nice and great with kids. She needs a raise. She was very friendly and talkative even though we were there close to store closing. Not to mention she was 8 months pregnant. Glad she was working when we came in that night!
What a turn around..been having a great experience the last few times I shopped at Claire's. The atmosphere was great, the staff was so friendly and sweet.The store looked clean & organized, I had to ask what changed & found out a new store Manager took over around 6 months ago. Made a huge difference then before, hope they keep it going like this! A++
Went in for an ear piercing for a 5 year old, the staff member was great, but working alone, which made it difficult for her to offer her attention to my daughters piercing as well as other customers. The piercing gun also jammed twice, luckily my kid is pretty resilient.
My daughter went to Claire’s to have her 2nd piercing for her birthday. My daughter had to go to the emergency room to have her earring removed due to the girl who pierced her ear not being to knowledgeable about what she was doing. It’s pretty simple to say an earring is too small. Instead the girl pierced her ear and my daughter had it removed by an ER doctor 5 days later. When I called to speak with a manager I just had a speech given to me from another girl about how some are too small and didn’t seem to really care about the situation. Of course it does not take a genius to know this, but.... YALL ARE THE PROFESSIONALS PIERCING EARS! I would not recommend having your ears pierced here.
They have an amazing selection of really high priced, simple jewelry. I found most of the items cheaper online, but if you want to have it now then this is a goto place. I love rose gold, they didnt have alot to choose from in that particular metal but still had alot to choose from.
There isn't much exciting to tally about Claire's, but the ladies who work there are very nice, and helpful with information on piercings, and other such things.
Always have great customer service and decent sales. The selection is not alwaysgray but we go back regularly. I recommend this place if you have young girls who like "bling".
I just went to the store the other day. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help me. My daughter loves this store. Keep up the great service..
