Vic arrived eventually finding me not easy to find He is a very nice guy and set about my battery drain, within a few minutes the fault was found, a mug of tea consumed, fault rectified, a conversation about classic cars he really knows his stuff paid him, a very reasonable amount and he was on his way. I highly recommend him, absolutely brilliant.
After two weeks of fighting a dead car by myself, I concluded that my problem was ignition and called Classic Car Electrics. Vic travelled a long distance to have a look the following morning. His service goes above and beyond. After thoroughly testing all the relevant electrics he then diagnosed the fault and although it was not a simple fix by any means, he stuck at it until the car came roaring back to life. Decent bloke, very knowledgeable, and a safe pair of hands. I thoroughly recommend Classic Car Electrics to all classic and vintage car owners.
I had an electrical fault with my classic Mini and "Vic" knew exactly where the problem was, He fixed the fault in about 20 minutes!. "Vic" is a really wise man when it comes to classic car electrics. It was a real pressure to meet "Vic" today and he was so honest even with his prices. If i'd of gone to any garage they would never of known the fault!, But "Vic" did!!!, "Vic’s" knowledge and experience with classic cars electrics is incredible!, This is the man that knows!!! and i would recommend "Classic Car Electrics" to anyone.
Fully recommended!!! I have a 1984 mini project where the only electrical items working were wipers and the ignition. Had a couple other useless mechanics who were working on the car have a look at it and was advised to get a new loom as my wiring was shot. Found Vic called him up and was there the next day!! Only took him a day and a half and the car was mint!!! Great guy who's been doing this for more than two of my lifetimes and it really does show! Great to see a professional old schooler in this world of "technicians".
Vic arrived on time and sorted out the 'spaghetti' - a car fire in waiting - and redundant relays under the dash and centre console and got rid of the dead 'alarm' and associated wiring on my '73 BMW 2002 which now works as it should. Brilliant!
Had a persistent fault fuse blowing for months with my Hyundia Accent, but Classic Car Electrics solved it! Can recommend for things that Electronic diagnostics cannot find. At a reasonable price.
