It’s ok. Nothing special. It’s so loud and service can be great or terrible. Only eaten breakfast here and have done so a few times when on this side of town to get it chances. A little bit of a limited menu for breakfast. Window room is always hot. Benedict poached eggs are always cold under the sauce. Crab cake a lot of stuffing, little crab. Home fries bland, need seasoning. I think the draw here must be the cocktails you can get at breakfast because I don’t think it’s the food.
Great place to meet friends or family for a meal. Great home cooking and seafood!
I've been eating at the classic cafe for 35 years and I've never had a bad meal. Whether it's off the regular menu or one of their daily specials. Clear lake is lucky to have a place like the Seabrook classic cafe.Food: 5/5
First time here on advice from our business partner. Had a fried shrimp platter in its glory. Loved it. It’s absolutely delicious. It is on upper part of menu. Apologies I didn’t take a photo. You should try it though.Food: 5/5
The looks of this restaurant are not the appeal, the food definitely is the draw. I have been visiting this restaurant since the late 80's and it has not changed. The food here is the best diner food in the greater Houston area. Definitely try the fried shrimp, the grilled shrimp tacos are awesome as well. A must try.Food: 5/5
This was mine and my husband's first time coming here and the food and service was on point!!! I will definitely recommend this place!! Thank you!!Food: 5/5
Went here last weekend with my husband and MIL, and it's was absolutely delicious! My MIL and I had the breakfast crab cake beni. My husband had the Biscuits and gravy, and he said they were dry, & he will try something else next time. But other than that, it was delicious and we will be back!Food: 5/5
Great brunch spot on a Sunday morning!! It's casual and low-key with a great vibe. Bloody Mary was fantastic, and so were the eggs Benedict and crab cakes. It's definitely a repeat eatery.Food: 5/5
Server was great. It's clearly a popular spot. The pancakes were mehhh. The eggs were actually pretty good. It was my first beignet, but it didn't seem quite right.... Basically, the food wasn't worth the cost. The pancakes/eggs/ bacon was $11.50, but was probably worth more like $9.50 quality. Would maybe come back
Been eating at Classic on and off for about 20 years and I don't know what happened. Had some of the best chicken fried steak around and now the last I time ordered, it was horrible. They have also ruined the shrimp Po boy. Very small shrimp and not fresh and the bread was old.
