OSU Extension Clatsop County's SNAP-Ed/FCH program is dedicated to promoting healthy communities, families and individuals through nutrition education.
OSU Extension Clatsop County's SNAP-Ed/FCH program serves Oregonians through education, community partnerships, and action. We use evidence-based nutrition education to promote healthy eating and active lifestyles within a limited budget. We also collaborate with local governments, community groups and other organizations on policy, system and environmental change interventions and projects that address obesity prevention efforts.
Oregon State University SNAP-Ed/FCH program's goal is to improve the likelihood that persons eligible for SNAP will make healthy food choices within a limited budget and choose physically active lifestyles consistent with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the USDA food guidance.
